Conveyor belts - Determination of strength of mechanical fastenings - Static test method (ISO 1120:2012)

ISO 1120:2012 specifies a static test method for measuring the strength of a conveyor belt mechanical fastening; the mechanical joints can be either of the type employing a connecting rod or of a type which does not employ a connecting rod.

Fördergurte - Bestimmung der Festigkeit mechanischer Verbindungen - Statisches Prüfverfahren (ISO 1120:2012)

Diese Internationale Norm legt ein statisches Prüfverfahren zur Ermittlung der Festigkeit der mechanischen Verbindung eines Förderbandes fest; die mechanischen Verbindungen können einen Kupplungsstab verwenden (lösbare Verbindungen) oder ohne Kupplungsstab (nicht lösbare Verbindung) sein.
Diese Internationale Norm gilt nicht für vulkanisierte Verbindungen.
Diese Internationale Norm ist nicht anwendbar oder gültig für leichte Fördergurte nach ISO 21183-1 [1].
ANMERKUNG Mit Hilfe des in dieser Internationalen Norm beschriebenen Verfahrens werden Gurtverbindungen mit ungenügender statischer Festigkeit ausgesondert. Ein dynamisches Prüfverfahren wird zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt festgelegt werden.

L'ISO 1120:2012 spécifie une méthode d'essai statique permettant de mesurer la résistance de l'assemblage agrafé d'une courroie transporteuse; il existe deux types d'assemblages mécaniques, avec ou sans jonc d'assemblage.

Ta evropski standard ne zajema vulkaniziranih spojev. Ta mednarodni standard se ne uporablja oziroma ni veljaven za lahke trakove tračnih transporterjev iz standarda ISO 21183-1.

This document (EN ISO 1120:2012) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 41 "Pulleys and
belts (including veebelts)" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 188 “Conveyor belts” the
secretariat of which is held by SNV.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by April 2013, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the
latest by April 2013.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent
