Binders for paints and varnishes - Determination of monomeric diisocyanates in isocyanate resins (ISO 10283:2007)

ISO 10283:2007 specifies a gas-chromatographic method for determining monomeric diisocyanates such as toluene diisocyanate, hexamethylene diisocyanate, isophorone diisocyanate, diphenylmethane diisocyanate and other diisocyanates in isocyanate resins and in solutions prepared from such resins, insofar as these are used in the formulation of paints and similar coating materials.

Diese Internationale Norm legt ein gaschromatographisches Verfahren zum Bestimmen von monomeren Diisocyanaten wie Toluylendiisocyanat ), Hexamethylendiisocyanat, Isophorondiisocyanat ) und Diphenyl¬methandiisocyanat ) und anderen Diisocyanaten in Isocyanatharzen nach Abschnitt 3 und aus solchen Harzen hergestellte Lösungen, so weit sie für Lacke und ähnliche Beschichtungsstoffe verwendet werden, fest.

L'ISO 10283:2007 spécifie une méthode par chromatographie en phase gazeuse pour la détermination des diisocyanates monomères tels que le diisocyanate de toluène, le diisocyanate d'hexaméthylène, le diisocyanate d'isophorone, le diisocyanate de diphénylméthane et les autres diisocyanates dans les résines diisocyanates et dans les solutions préparées à partir de ces résines, dans la mesure où elles sont utilisées dans les formulations de peintures et de matériaux de revêtement assimilés.

This document (EN ISO 10283:2007) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 35 "Paints and
varnishes" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 139 "Paints and varnishes", the secretariat of
which is held by DIN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by March 2008, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at
the latest by March 2008.
According to the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations, the national standards organizations of the following
countries are bound to implement this European Standard: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech
