Non-destructive testing of steel tubes - Part 7: Automatic full peripheral ultrasonic testing of seamless and welded (except submerged arc welded) tubes for the detection of longitudinal imperfections
This part of EN 10246 specifies the requirements for automatic full peripheral ultrasonic shear wave (including phased array technique) and Lamb wave testing of seamless and welded steel tubes, with the exception of submerged arc-weld (SAW) tubes, for the detection of longitudinal imperfections. This European Standard specifies acceptance levels and calibration procedures.
This part of EN 10246 is applicable to the inspection of tubes with an outside diameter > 10 mm, and with an outside diameter-to-thickness ratio ³ 5.
For tubes with an outside diameter-to-thickness ratio < 5, one of the options specified in Annex B shall be used by agreement between purchaser and manufacturer.
The European Standard EN 10246 "Non-destructive testing of steel tubes" comprises the parts shown in Annex A.
Zerstörungsfreie Prüfung von Stahlrohren - Teil 7: Automatische Ultraschallprüfung nahtloser und geschweißter (ausgenommen unterpulvergeschweißter) Stahlrohre über den gesamten Rohrumfang zum Nachweis von Längsfehlern
Dieser Teil der EN 10246 legt die Anforderungen an die automatische Ultraschallprüfung unter Anwendung von Tranversal- und Plattenwellen über den gesamten Umfang nahtloser und geschweißter Stahlrohre - mit Ausnahme unterpulvergeschweißter (SAW)-Rohre - zum Nachweis von Längsfehlern fest. Diese Norm enthält Festlegungen über Zulässigkeitsklassen und die Einstellung der Prüfanlagen.
Dieser Teil der EN 10246 gilt für die Prüfung von Rohren mit einem Außendurchmesser größer als
10 mm und einem Außendurchmesser-Wanddicken-Verhältnis ab 5.
Für Rohre mit einem Außendurchmesser-Wanddicken-Verhältnis unter 5 ist - nach Vereinbarung zwischen Besteller und Hersteller - eines der in Anhang B festgelegten Verfahren anzuwenden.
Die Europäische Norm EN 10246 �Zerstörungsfreie Prüfung von Stahlrohren" besteht aus den im Anhang A angegebenen Teilen.

La presente partie de l'EN 10246 specifie les prescriptions relatives au controle automatique par ultrasons, avec
ondes de cisaillement (y compris la technique phased array et ondes de Lamb, sur la totalite de la
circonference des tubes en acier sans soudure et soudes, a l'exception des tubes soudes a l'arc immerge sous flux
en poudre (SAW), pour la detection des imperfections longitudinales. La presente Norme europeenne specifie des
niveaux d'acceptation et des procedures d'etalonnage.
La presente partie de l¡¯EN 10246 est applicable au controle de tubes de diametre exterieur >10 mm, et de rapport
diametre exterieur/epaisseur ¡Ã5.
Pour les tubes de rapport diametre exterieur/epaisseur <5, on doit utiliser une des options specifiees dans
l'Annexe B, par accord entre acheteur et producteur.
La Norme europeenne EN 10246 Essais non destructifs des tubes en acier est constituee des parties indiquees
a l'Annexe A.
