Paints and varnishes - Evaluation of degradation of coatings - Designation of quantity and size of defects, and of intensity of uniform changes in appearance - Part 2: Assessment of degree of blistering (ISO 4628-2:2003)

ISO 4628-2:2003 describes a method for assessing the degree of blistering of coatings by comparison with pictorial standards.
NOTE The pictorial standards have been adopted from ASTM D 714, Standard Test Method for Evaluating Degree of Blistering of Paints. The correlation between the ISO and ASTM rating systems is shown in an annex.

Dieser Teil von ISO 4628 legt ein Verfahren zum Bewerten des Blasengrades von Beschichtungen durch Vergleich mit Bildern fest.
Die Bilder in diesem Teil von ISO 4628 zeigen Blasen der Größen  2, 3, 4 und 5 und für diese Größen Blasen der Mengen 2, 3, 4 und 5.
Teil 1 von ISO 4628 legt das System zum Bewerten der Menge und der Größe von Beschichtungsschäden sowie der Intensität von Veränderungen im Aussehen von Beschichtungen fest und enthält die Grundlagen des Systems. Das System ist insbesondere für Schäden gedacht, die durch Alterung und Bewitterung hervorgerufen werden und für gleichmäßige Veränderungen wie Farbänderungen, z. B. Vergilbung.

L'ISO 4628-2:2003 spécifie une méthode d'évaluation du degré de cloquage de revêtements par la comparaison avec des étalons illustrés.
NOTE Les étalons illustrés proviennent de l'ASTM D 714, Méthode d'essai d'évaluation du degré de cloquage des peintures. La correspondance entre les systèmes d'évaluation ISO et ASTM est indiquée dans une annexe.

This document (EN ISO 4628-2:2003) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 35
"Paints and varnishes" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 139 "Paints and
varnishes", the secretariat of which is held by DIN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of
an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by March 2004, and conflicting national
standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by March 2004.
According to the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations, the national standards organizations of
the following countries are bound to implement this European Standard: Austria, Belgium, Czech
Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy,
