Transmitters for use in industrial-process control systems - Part 1: Methods for performance evaluation
IEC 60770-1:2010 is intended to specify uniform methods of test for the evaluation of the performance of transmitters with pneumatic or electric output signals. It is applicable to transmitters which have either a standard analogue electric current output signal or a standard pneumatic output analogue signal in accordance with IEC 60381-1 or IEC 60382. The tests detailed herein may be applied to transmitters which have other output signals, provided that due allowance is made for such differences. This second edition cancels and replaces the first edition published in 1999 and constitutes a technical revision. The significant technical change with respect to the previous edition is as follows: 4.3 Load conditions,for pneumatic transmitters, load details have been added. This publication is to be read in conjunction with IEC 61298-1:2008, IEC 61298-2:2008, IEC 61298-3:2008 and IEC 61298-4:2008.

La CEI 60770-1:2010 spécifie des méthodes uniformes d'essai pour l'évaluation des performances des transmetteurs à signaux de sortie électriques ou pneumatiques. Elle s'applique aux transmetteurs ayant pour signal de sortie normalisé soit un courant électrique analogique, soit un signal pneumatique analogique, conformément à la CEI 60381-1 ou à la CEI 60382. Les essais détaillés dans cette norme peuvent être applicables à des transmetteurs dotés d'autres signaux de sortie, à condition de tenir compte, de façon appropriée, de ces différences. Cette deuxième édition annule et remplace la première édition, parue en 1999, dont elle constitue une révision technique. La modification technique principale par rapport à l'édition précédente est la suivante: 4.3 Conditions de charge, pour les transmetteurs pneumatiques, des détails de charge ont été ajoutés. Cette publication doit être lue conjointement avec la CEI 61298-1:2008, la CEI 61298-2:2008, la CEI 61298-3:2008 et la CEI 61298-4:2008.

Ta del IEC 60770 velja za oddajnike, ki imajo ali standardni analogni električni tokovni izhodni signal ali standardni pnevmatični analogni izhodni signal v skladu z IEC 60381-1 ali IEC 60382. Preskusi, ki so tukaj podrobno opisani, se lahko uporabijo za oddajnike, ki imajo druge izhodne signale, pod pogojem, da se ustrezno upoštevajo te razlike. Posledično se morajo vrednosti, navedene tukaj, uporabiti, kadar proizvajalec ne poda drugih vrednosti.Preskusi, določeni v tem standardu, niso nujno zadostni za instrumente, posebej načrtovane za nenavadno naporne dolžnosti, povezane z varnostjo. Oziroma, omejene serije preskusov so
lahko primerne za instrumente, načrtovane za delovanje v bolj omejenem nizu pogojev. Kadar ni potrebno celotno ocenjevanje v skladu s tem standardom, se izvedejo ti preskusi, ki se zahtevajo, in rezultati izrazijo v skladu z ustreznimi deli tega standarda.

The text of document 65B/656/CDV, future edition 2 of IEC 60770-1, prepared by SC 65B, Devices &
process analysis, of IEC TC 65, Industrial-process measurement, control and automation, was submitted
to the IEC-CENELEC parallel vote and was approved by CENELEC as EN 60770-1 on 2011-01-02.
This European Standard supersedes EN 60770-1:1999.
The significant technical change with respect to EN 60770-1:1999 is as follows:
– 4.3 Load conditions: For pneumatic transmitters, load details have been added.
This standard should be read in conjunction with EN 61298-1, EN 61298-2, EN 61298-3 and EN 61298-4.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
