Multi-channel radio frequency connectors - Part 3: Sectional specification for MQ5 series circular connectors

IEC 63138-3:2022, which is a sectional specification (SS), provides information and rules for the preparation of detail specifications (DS) for MQ5 series circular connectors with five RF channels, as well as a detailed specification of the blank format. This document also specifies the mating face dimensions and gauging information of MQ5 series circular connectors, and tests selected from IEC 63138-1, applicable to all detail specifications relating to MQ5 series circular connectors.

IEC 63138-3:2022, qui est une spécification intermédiaire (SS), fournit des informations et des règles pour l’établissement de spécifications particulières (DS) relatives aux connecteurs circulaires de série MQ5 disposant de cinq canaux RF, ainsi qu’une spécification particulière-cadre.Le présent document spécifie également les dimensions de l’interface d’accouplement et les informations sur les calibres de contrôle de la série MQ5, ainsi que les essais choisis dans l’IEC 63138-1, applicables à toutes les spécifications particulières relatives aux connecteurs circulaires de série MQ5.

Ta del standarda IEC 63138, ki je področna specifikacija (SS), podaja informacije in določa pravila za pripravo podrobnih specifikacij (DS) za okrogle konektorje serije MQ5 s petimi radiofrekvenčnimi kanali, pa tudi s podrobno specifikacijo praznega formata.
Okrogli konektor serije MQ5 z nazivno impedanco 50 Ω ima pet radiofrekvenčnih kanalov, ki jih je mogoče vklopiti in izklopiti hkrati. Obstajata dve različici vtičnih konektorjev, ena je različica s hitrim zaklepanjem in druga z navojem. Vtični konektor vključuje spojna mehanizma, hiter zaklep in spojko z navojem.
Okrogli konektorji serije MQ5 se lahko uporabljajo v mobilnih komunikacijskih sistemih in v drugi komunikacijski opremi.

The text of document 46F/602/FDIS, future edition 1 of IEC 63138-3, prepared by SC 46F "RF and
microwave passive components" of IEC/TC 46 "Cables, wires, waveguides, RF connectors, RF and
microwave passive components and accessories" was submitted to the IEC-CENELEC parallel vote
and approved by CENELEC as EN IEC 63138-3:2022.
The following dates are fixed:
• latest date by which the document has to be implemented at national (dop) 2023-01-13
level by publication of an identical national standard or by endorsement
• latest date by which the national standards conflicting with the (dow) 2025-04-13
document have to be withdrawn
