The text of document 40/1463/FDIS, future edition 1 of IEC 60384-14-2, prepared by IEC TC 40,
Capacitors and resistors for electronic equipment, was submitted to the IEC-CENELEC parallel vote
and was approved by CENELEC as EN 60384-14-2 on 2004-11-01.
This European Standard, together with EN 60384-14-3:2004, supersedes EN 132421:1997.
This European Standard should be read in conjunction with EN 60384-1:2001.
The following dates were fixed:
– latest date by which the EN has to be implemented
at national level by publication of an identical
national standard or by endorsement (dop) 2005-08-01
– latest date by which the national standards conflicting
with the EN have to be withdrawn (dow) 2007-11-01
Annex ZA has been added by CENELEC.
