Low-voltage switchgear and controlgear - Part 3: Switches, disconnectors, switch-disconnectors and fuse-combination units
IEC 60947-3:2020 applies to switches, disconnectors, switch-disconnectors and fuse-combination units and their dedicated accessories to be used in distribution circuits and motor circuits of which the rated voltage does not exceed 1 000 V AC or 1 500 V DC. This fourth edition cancels and replaces the third edition published in 2008, Amendment 1:2012 and Amendment 2:2015. This edition constitutes a technical revision. This edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to the previous edition:
addition of critical load current tests for DC switches (see 9.3.9);
addition of requirements for a conditional short-circuit rating for disconnectors, switches, and switch-disconnectors protected by circuit-breakers (see 9.3.7.2);
addition of new categories for high-efficiency motors switching (see Annex A);
addition of new Annex E for connection to aluminium conductors;
addition of new Annex F for power losses measurement.

L’IEC 60947-3:2020 s’applique à l’appareillage suivant: interrupteurs, sectionneurs, interrupteurs-sectionneurs, combinés-fusibles et leurs accessoires dédiés, destinés à être insérés dans des circuits de distribution et des circuits de moteurs dont la tension assignée est inférieure ou égale à 1 000 V en courant alternatif ou à 1 500 V en courant continu. Cette quatrième édition annule et remplace la troisième édition parue en 2008, l’Amendement 1:2012 et l’Amendement 2:2015. Cette édition constitue une révision technique. Cette édition inclut les modifications techniques majeures suivantes par rapport à l’édition précédente:
ajout d'essais de courant critique de charge pour interrupteurs à courant continu (voir 9.3.9);
ajout d’exigences relatives à la caractéristique assignée de court-circuit conditionnel pour les sectionneurs, les interrupteurs et les interrupteurs-sectionneurs protégés par des disjoncteurs (voir 9.3.7.2);
ajout de nouvelles catégories pour commande de moteurs à haut rendement (voir Annexe A);
ajout d’une nouvelle Annexe E pour le raccordement à des conducteurs en aluminium;
ajout d’une nouvelle Annexe F pour la mesure des puissances dissipées.

Ta del standarda IEC 60947 se uporablja za stikala, ločilnike, ločilna stikala in stikalne aparate z varovalkami
ter njihov namenski pribor, ki so namenjeni uporabi v razdelilnih tokokrogih in motorskih tokokrogih, pri čemer nazivna napetost ne presega 1000 V izmenične napetosti ali 1500 V enosmerne napetosti.
OPOMBA 1: Pribor vključuje vzajemno povezane enote, razširjene priključke, notranje tuljave, pomožne kontakte, motorni pogon in druge dodatke, ki so na voljo za izbiro skupaj z osnovno enoto.
Ta dokument se ne uporablja za opremo, ki spada na področje uporabe standardov IEC 60947-2, IEC 60947-4-1 in IEC 60947-5-1.

OPOMBA 2: Glede na njegovo zasnovo lahko stikalo (ali ločilnik) imenujemo »vrtljivo stikalo (ločilnik)«, »odmično stikalo (ločilnik)«, »nožasto stikalo (ločilnik)« itd.
OPOMBA 3: V tem dokumentu se izraz »stikalo« uporablja tudi za naprave, ki se v francoščini imenujejo »commutateurs« ter so namenjene spreminjanju povezav med vezji in med drugim zamenjavi dela vezja z drugim delom.
OPOMBA 4: Na splošno se v tem dokumentu stikala, ločilniki, ločilna stikala in stikalni aparati z varovalkami imenujejo »oprema«.
Cilj tega dokumenta je navesti:
a) značilnosti opreme;
b) pogoje, ki veljajo za opremo v zvezi z:
1) delovanjem in vedenjem v običajnih pogojih;
2) delovanjem in vedenjem v primeru navedenih izrednih razmer (npr. kratek stik);
3) dielektričnimi lastnostmi;
c) preskuse, s katerimi se potrdi, da so bili ti pogoji in metode izvajanja teh preskusov izpolnjeni;
d) ustrezne informacije o označevanju opreme oziroma informacije, ki jih da na voljo proizvajalec (npr. v katalogu).
Posamezne točke, pri katerih je potreben dogovor med uporabnikom in proizvajalcem, so opredeljene v dodatku B.

This European standard has been prepared under the European Commission standardization request
C(2016) 7641 final of 30.11.2016 , ('M/552'), as regards harmonized standards in support of Directive
2014/30/EU relating to electromagnetic compatibility, to provide one voluntary means of conforming to
essential requirements of Directive 2014/30/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26
February 2014 on the harmonization of the laws of the Member States relating to electromagnetic
compatibility [2014 OJ L96].
Once this standard is cited in the Official Journal of the European Union under that Directive,
compliance with the normative clauses of this standard given in Table ZZA.1 confers, within the limits
of the scope of this standard, a presumption of conformity with the corresponding essential
