Soil quality — Sampling — Part 206: Collection, handling and storage of soil under aerobic conditions for the assessment of microbiological processes, biomass and diversity in the laboratory
This document provides standard procedures for the collection, handling and storage of soil for subsequent biological testing under aerobic conditions in the laboratory. It applies to the collection, handling and storage for assessing the effects of soil on microorganisms, invertebrates (e.g. survival, reproduction, growth, behaviour) and plants (e.g. development, growth). This document is not applicable to the handling of soil where anaerobic conditions need to be maintained throughout. This document describes how to minimize the effects of differences in temperature, water content, and availability of oxygen on aerobic processes as well as the fractionation of soil particles to facilitate reproducible laboratory determinations[1][2]. This document is mainly applicable to temperate soils. Soils collected from extreme climates (e.g. permafrost, tropical soils) can require special handling. NOTE This document does not provide standard procedures on the collection, handling and storage of soil organisms when assessing the structure and function of soil organism communities in the field. Such standard procedures are provided in ISO 23611‑1 to ISO 23611‑6.

Le présent document fournit des procédures normalisées pour la collecte, la manipulation et la conservation, dans des conditions aérobies, de sols destinés à des essais biologiques en laboratoire. Il s'applique à la collecte, la manipulation et la conservation de sols pour l'évaluation de leurs effets sur les micro-organismes, les invertébrés (par exemple survie, reproduction, croissance, comportement) et les végétaux (par exemple développement, croissance). Le présent document ne s'applique pas à la manipulation de sols lorsque des conditions anaérobies doivent être maintenues en permanence. Le présent document décrit comment réduire les conséquences des différences de température, de teneur eau et en oxygène disponible sur les processus aérobies, ainsi que le fractionnement des particules du sol, afin d'obtenir des mesures reproductibles en laboratoire[1][2]. Le présent document s'applique principalement aux sols tempérés. Les sols collectés dans des lieux où les climats sont extrêmes (par exemple le pergélisol, les sols tropicaux) peuvent nécessiter une manipulation particulière. NOTE Le présent document ne propose pas de procédures normalisées pour la collecte, la manipulation et la conservation d'organismes du sol lors de l'évaluation de la structure et de la fonction de communautés d'organismes du sol sur le terrain. De telles procédures normalisées sont fournies dans l?ISO 23611‑1 à l'ISO 23611‑6.

Ta dokument podaja standardne postopke za zbiranje, ravnanje in shranjevanje vzorcev tal za nadaljnje biološko preskušanje pri aerobnih pogojih v laboratoriju. Uporablja se tudi za zbiranje, ravnanje in shranjevanje ocene vplivov tal na mikroorganizme, nevretenčarje (npr. preživetje, razmnoževanje, rast, vedenje) in rastline (npr. razvoj, rast). Ta dokument se ne uporablja za ravnanje s tlemi, pri katerih je treba ves čas vzdrževati anaerobne pogoje. Ta dokument opisuje, kako minimizirati učinke razlik v temperaturi, vsebnosti vode in razpoložljivosti kisika na aerobne procese, ter frakcioniranja delcev tal za olajšanje ponovljivosti laboratorijskega določanja [1][2].
Ta dokument se uporablja predvsem za tla z zmerno temperaturo. Vzorci tal, zbrani v ekstremnih podnebjih (npr. permafrost, tropska tla), morda potrebujejo posebno obravnavo. OPOMBA: Ta dokument ne podaja standardnih postopkov zbiranja, ravnanja in shranjevanja talnih organizmov pri ocenjevanju strukture in delovanja skupnostnih talnih organizmov na terenu. Taki standardni postopki so podani v standardih ISO 23611-1 do ISO 23611-6.
