This European Standard specifies requirements for four types of thermoplastic multi-layer (non-vulcanized) hoses and hose assemblies for carrying hydrocarbons, solvents and chemicals. It specifies bore sizes from 25 mm to 300 mm, working pressures from 4 bar1 to 14 bar and working temperatures from -30 °C to 150 °C.

Diese Europäische Norm legt Anforderungen für vier Typen thermoplastischer, mehr¬lagiger (nicht vulkanisierte) Schläuche und Schlauchleitungen zur Förderung von Kohlen¬wasserstoffen, Lösungsmitteln und Chemikalien fest. Sie legt Bohrungsdurchmesser von 25 mm bis 300 mm, Betriebsdrücke von 4 bar ) bis 14 bar und Betriebstemperaturen von 30 °C bis 150 °C fest.
Der Schlauchtyp 1 ist geeignet für die Anwendung mit Gas. Die Schlauch¬typen 2 bis 4 sind für Anwendungen mit Flüssigkeit geeignet.
ANMERKUNG 1 Der Anwender wird auf Anhang A verwiesen, der die Werkstoffauswahl für die Innenwände der Lagen und der polymeren Überzüge der inneren Drahtwendel bezüglich der durch die Schläuche und/oder Schlauchleitungen zu fördernden Chemikalien betrifft.
ANMERKUNG 2 Wenn ein polymerbeschichteter Draht für die Anwendung mit schwach leitenden Kohlenwasserstoffen oder Chemikalien vorgesehen ist, sollte der Hersteller zurate gezogen werden.
Diese Europäische Norm gilt nicht für Schläuche und Schlauchleitungen für:
- Flugzeugbetankung (EN 1361);
- Zapfstellenschläuche (EN 1360);
- Ölbrenner (EN ISO 6806);
- Flüssiggas und Flüssigerdgas (EN 13766);
- Feuerwehrschläuche (EN ISO 14775);
- Offshore Flüssigerdgas (EN 1474 2);

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les exigences relatives à quatre types de tuyaux et assemblages flexibles thermoplastique multicouches (non vulcanisés) utilisés pour le transport d’hydrocarbures, de solvants et de produits chimiques. Elle spécifie des diamètres de passage compris entre 25 mm et 300 mm, des pressions de service comprises entre 4 bar ) et 14 bar et des températures d’utilisation comprises entre 30 °C et 150 °C.
Les tuyaux de type 1 conviennent aux applications de la vapeur. Les tuyaux de types 2 à 4 conviennent à l’utilisation de liquides.
NOTE 1 L’attention des utilisateurs est attirée sur l’Annexe A concernant le choix du matériau du revêtement intérieur des couches et de tout revêtement polymère de l’hélice intérieure en contact avec le(s) produit(s) chimique(s) à transporter dans les tuyaux et/ou assemblages flexibles.
NOTE 2 Il convient de consulter le fabricant lorsque l’utilisation d’un fil interne avec revêtement polymère est prévue pour être en contact avec des produits chimiques ou des hydrocarbures de basse conductivité.
La présente Norme européenne ne s’applique pas aux tuyaux et aux assemblages flexibles destinés :
Au ravitaillement en carburant des avions (EN 1361) ;
A la livraison de carburant (EN 1360) ;
Aux brûleurs à mazout (EN ISO 6806) ;
Aux gaz de pétrole liquéfiés et au gaz naturel liquéfié (EN 13766) ;
A la lutte contre l’incendie (EN ISO 14775) ;
Au gaz naturel liquéfié en mer (EN 1474-2) ;
Aux circuits réfrigérants.

EN 13765:2010 (E) 3 Foreword This document (EN 13765:2010) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 218 “Rubber and plastic hoses and hose assemblies”, the secretariat of which is held by BSI. This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by October 2010, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by October 2010. Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent rights. CEN [and/or CENELEC] shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights. This document supersedes EN 13765:2003. Annexes B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J and K are normative. Annexes A and L are informative. EN 13765:2010 (E) 4 1 Scope This European Standard specifies requirements for four types of thermoplastic multi-layer (non-vulcanized) hoses and hose assemblies for carrying hydrocarbons, solvents and chemicals. It specifies bore sizes from 25 mm to 300 mm, working pressures from 4 bar1 to 14 bar and working temperatures from –30 °C to 150 °C. Type 1 hoses are suitable for vapour applications. Types 2 to 4 hoses are suitable for liquid applications. NOTE 1 The attention of users is drawn to Annex A concerning the selection of the material for the inner wall of layers and any polymeric coating of the internal wire helix related to the chemical(s) to be conveyed by the hoses and/or hose assemblies. NOTE 2 The manufacturer should be consulted where a polymeric coated internal wire is being considered for use with low conductivity hydrocarbons or chemicals. 5 Materials and construction 5.1 General Hoses shall be constructed as shown in Figure 1 and shall consist of the following: SIST EN 13765:2011
EN 13765:2010 (E) 6 an internal wire helix (see 5.2); a multi-ply wall of layers of films and fabrics made of thermoplastics that in combination give the required properties and provide a complete seal (see also Annex A); a cover consisting of a fabric with abrasion resistant polymeric coating; an external wire helix (see 5.2).
5.2 Internal and external wire Wire shall be chosen in accordance with its chemical resistance from one of the following materials: stainless steel wire conforming to EN 10088-3:2005, Table 4, numbers 1.4306, 1.4401, 1.4404 or 1.4436; carbon steel wire conforming to Annex B and either galvanised in accordance with Annex C or sheathed in a polymeric material of a minimum wall thickness of 0,5 mm, resistant to liquid hydrocarbon or liquid chemicals as agreed between purchaser and manufacturer (see Annex A); aluminium wire conforming to ISO 209.
