Respiratory protective devices - Threads for facepieces - Thread connection M 45 x 3

This European standard applies to self-contained compressed air breathing apparatus designed as positive pressure demand apparatus. This European Standard specifies a thread connection, M 45 x 3, which may optionally be used for facepieces for positive pressure breathing apparatus.  This standard does not apply to negative pressure breathing apparatus, closed-circuit breathing apparatus or to diving equipment.

Diese Europäische Norm gilt für Behältergeräte mit Druckluft (Pressluftatmer) in Überdruckausführung. Diese Europäische Norm legt eine Schraubverbindung M 45 x 3 fest, die nach Wahl für Atemanschlüsse für Überdruckpressluftatmer verwendet werden kann. Die Norm gilt nicht für Normaldruckpressluftatmer, Kreislaufgeräte und Tauschausrüstung.

La présente norme européenne s'applique aux appareils de protection respiratoire autonomes a air comprimé conçus comme appareils de protection respiratoire isolants a pression positive.  La présente norme européenne spécifie un raccord a filetage M 45 x 3 qui peut etre utilisé facultativement pour les pieces faciales pour appareils de protection respiratoire isolants a pression positive.  Cette norme ne s'applique pas aux appareils de protection respiratoire isolants a pression négative, aux appareils de protection respiratoire isolants a circuit fermé ou appareils de plongée.
