Self-adhesive tapes - Measurement of elongation under static load
This standard specifies the method to measure the elongation of an adhesive tape under a low tension maintained over a relatively short period. This method is intended to give an indication to the user of the elongation of an adhesive tape under tension in use. This test is particulary applicable to tapes based on highly stretchable backings.
Klebebänder - Messung der Dehnung unter statischer Belastung
Diese Norm legt das Verfahren zum Messen der Dehnung eines Klebebandes fest, das durch eine relativ kurzzeitig wirkende geringe Zugkraft beansprucht wird. Das Verfahren versetzt den Anwender in die Lage, das Dehnungsverhalten eines bei seiner Anwendung auf Zug beanspruchten Klebebandes zu bewerten. Die hier beschriebene Prüfung gilt besonders für Klebebänder mit gut dehnbaren Trägern.

La présente norme prescrit une méthode pour mesurer l'allongement d'un ruban adhésif sous l'action d'une faible tension maintenue pendant un temps relativement court. Cet méthode a pour but de donner a l'utilisateur une indication de l'allongement d'un ruban adhésif en utilisation sous tension. Cet essai est particulierement applicable aux rubans adhésifs constitués d'un support tres extensible.
