Dieser Teil von ISO 17660 gilt für das Schweißen von schweißgeeigneten Betonstählen und nichtrostenden Betonstählen für tragende Schweißverbindungen in Betrieben und auf der Baustelle. Er legt Anforderungen für Werkstoffe, Gestaltung und Ausführung von Schweißverbindungen, Schweißpersonal, Qualitätsanforde-rungen, Untersuchung und Prüfung fest.
Dieser Teil von ISO 17660 enthält auch Verbindungen zwischen Betonstahlstäben und anderen Stahlteilen, wie Verbindungseinheiten, Verankerungen, einschließlich vorgefertigter Einbauteile. Nichttragende Schweiß-verbindungen werden durch ISO 17660-2 erfasst.
Dieser Teil von ISO 17660 gilt nicht für die fabrikmäßige Herstellung von Betonstahlmatten und Gitter-trägern auf Mehrfachpunktschweißmaschinen oder auf Mehrfachbuckelschweißmaschinen.
Die Anforderungen dieses Teils von ISO 17660 gelten nur für ruhend beanspruchte Bauteile.
ANMERKUNG Für dynamisch beanspruchte Bauteile wird empfohlen, in Abhängigkeit der Stoßart und des Schweiß-prozesses, eine merkliche Verminderung der dynamischen Festigkeit des Betonstahls zu berücksichtigen.
