Vitreous and porcelain enamels - Glass-lined apparatus for process plants - Part 2: Designation and specification of resistance to chemical attack and thermal shock (ISO 28721-2:2015)

This part of ISO 28721 specifies requirements for the resistance to chemical attack and thermal shock
of chemical enamels and their designation for ordering purposes.
It is applicable to enamelled apparatus, piping and other components primarily used for process
equipment in chemical plants.
It only applies to unalloyed and low-alloy carbon steels suitable for enamelling.
NOTE The main criteria for assessing enamel quality are the resistance to chemical attack and thermal
shock and the structure of the cover coat enamel.

Dieser Teil von ISO 28721 legt die Anforderungen an die chemische und Temperaturschockbestän¬digkeit von Chemie-Emails sowie die zur Bestellung zu verwendende Bezeichnung fest.
Er gilt für emaillierte Apparate, Rohrleitungen und sonstige Bauteile, die vorwiegend für verfah¬renstechnische Zwecke in Chemie-Anlagen eingesetzt werden.
Er gilt nur für unlegierte und niedriglegierte emaillierbare Kohlenstoffstähle.
ANMERKUNG   Die wesentlichen Kriterien für die Beurteilung der EmaiIqualität sind die chemische und Temperatur-schockbeständigkeit sowie die Struktur der Deckemailschicht.

ISO 28721-2:2015 spécifie les exigences relatives à la résistance à l'attaque chimique et au choc thermique des émaux chimiques et leur désignation pour répondre à la commande.
Elle est applicable aux appareils, éléments de tuyauterie et autres composants émaillés, principalement utilisés pour l'équipement industriel dans les usines chimiques.
Elle s'applique uniquement aux aciers au carbone faiblement alliés et non alliés, convenant à l'émaillage.
NOTE          Les principaux critères pour évaluer la qualité de l'émail sont la résistance à l'attaque chimique et au choc thermique, ainsi que la structure du revêtement émaillé.

Ta del standarda ISO 28721 določa zahteve za odpornost proti kemični agresiji in toplotnemu udaru kemičnih emajlov ter njihovo označevanje za namene odreditve.
Uporablja se za emajlirane naprave, cevi in druge komponente, ki se primarno uporabljajo za procesno
opremo in kemične tovarne. Uporablja se samo za nelegirana in malolegirana ogljikova jekla, primerna za emajliranje.
OPOMBA: Glavni merili za ocenjevanje kakovosti emajla sta odpornost na škodljive kemične učinke in toplotne udare ter struktura premaznega emajla.

"Metallic and other inorganic coatings" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 262
“Metallic and other inorganic coatings” the secretariat of which is held by BSI.

identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by June 2016, and conflicting national standards shall be
withdrawn at the latest by June 2016.
