General requirements for components used for renovation and repair of drain and sewer systems outside buildings

This European Standard specifies general requirements and general test methods for components such as pipes and fittings with their respective joints, manholes, inspection chambers and materials such as mortar and chemicals all intended to be used for repair and renovation of drain and sewer systems which operate as gravity systems where any pressure likely to occur is a maximum of 40 kPa and which are generally buried.

Anwendungsbereich
Diese Europäische Norm legt allgemeine Anforderungen und allgemeine Prüfverfahren für Bauteile, wie
Rohre, Formstücke, Einsteig- und Kontrollschächte mit ihren jeweiligen Verbindungen, sowie für Werkstoffe,
wie Mörtel und Chemikalien fest, die für die Renovierung und Reparatur von Abwasserleitungen und -kanälen
verwendet werden. Diese Abwasserleitungen und -kanäle sind im Allgemeinen erdverlegt und werden als
Schwerkraftentwässerungssysteme betrieben, wobei gelegentlich ein Druck von höchstens 40 kPa auftreten
kann.
Diese Europäische Norm stellt allgemeine Grundsätze für die Ausarbeitung oder Überarbeitung von Produkt-normen
auf. Sie gilt nicht für die Bewertung von Produkten. Wenn es keine Produktnorm gibt, gilt sie für die
Ausarbeitung von Produktspezifikationen.
Diese Europäische Norm enthält Anforderungen an die Kennzeichnung, Qualitätslenkung und Zertifizierung.
Sie gilt für alle Bauteile, die in befriedigender Weise in Systemen verwendet werden, um
a) häusliches Schmutzwasser;
b) Regen- und Oberflächenwasser sowie
c) andere Abwässer (z. B. industrielles Abwasser), die die Bauteile nicht beschädigen,
abzuleiten.
Diese Europäische Norm gilt für kreisförmige Bauteile und andere Querschnitte. Sie gilt gleichermaßen für
werksseitig und für vor Ort hergestellte Bauteile.

Domaine d'application
La présente Norme européenne établit les prescriptions générales et les méthodes générales d'essai applicables :
3 aux composants tels que les tuyaux et les raccords avec leurs assemblages respectifs, regards, boîtes de branchement ; et
3 aux matériaux tels que mortier et produits chimiques destinés a etre utilisés pour la rénovation et la réparation des réseaux d'assainissement et de branchement.
Ces branchements et réseaux d'assainissement fonctionnent généralement comme des réseaux a écoulement libre, dans lesquels aucune pression susceptible de se produire ne dépasse généralement 40 kPa et sont généralement enterrés.
La présente Norme européenne constitue la base générale pour la préparation ou la révision des normes européennes volontaires de produits. Elle ne s'applique pas a l'évaluation de produits.
Elle sert de référence pour établir une spécification de produits, en l'absence de norme de produits.
Cette Norme européenne inclut les prescriptions concernant la maîtrise de la qualité et la certification facultative.
Elle s'applique aux composants qui sont utilisés dans les réseaux qui transportent, de maniere satisfaisante :
les eaux usées domestiques ;
les eaux de pluie et les eaux de surface ; et
