Alarm systems - Alarm transmission systems and equipment - Part 1-5: Requirements for Packet Switched Network PSN

This European Standard specifies the  requirements for alarm transmission systems  using Packet Switched Networks (PSN),  which are additional to those in EN 50136-1- 1:1998. The alarm transmission system  using PSN may use wired links, voice grade  signalling links, mobile networks, radio or  data links and may include ethernet  switches, hubs, firewalls, ADSL-routers and  DSL-modems. The standard is also  applicable to alarm transmission systems in  which signalling links are shared with other  services within the above descriptions.

Alarmanlagen - Alarmübertragungsanlagen und -einrichtungen - Teil 1-5: Anforderungen an ein paketvermittelndes Netz (Packet Switched Network PSN)

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Anforderungen an Alarmübertragungsanlagen fest, die paketvermittelnde Netze (PSN) verwenden. Diese gelten zusätzlich zu den in der EN 50136-1-1:1998 festgelegten Anforderungen. Alarmübertragungsanlagen, die PSN verwenden, können drahtgebundene Verbindungen, Verbindungen innerhalb des Sprachbandes, Mobilfunknetze, Funk- oder Datenverbindungen nutzen, die Ethernet Switches, Hubs, Firewalls, ADSL-Router und DSL-Modems beinhalten können. Die Norm ist außerdem bei Alarmübertragungsanlagen anzuwenden, die sich die Datenverbindungen mit anderen Diensten innerhalb der oben beschriebenen Übertragungswege teilen.

La présente Norme Européenne spécifie les exigences des systèmes de transmission d’alarme utilisant les réseaux à commutation de paquets (PSN), exigences venant s’ajouter à celles de la EN 50136-1-1:1998. Le système de transmission d’alarme utilisant les réseaux PSN peut utiliser des liaisons filaires, des liaisons de communication de type téléphonique, des réseaux de téléphones mobiles, des liaisons radio ou de données et peut inclure des commutateurs Ethernet, concentrateurs, pare-feux, routeurs ADSL et modems DSL. La norme est également applicable aux systèmes de transmission d’alarme dans lesquels des liaisons de communication sont partagées avec d’autres services avec les descriptions ci-dessus.
