This European Standard is applicable to sodium dichloroisocyanurate, anhydrous used directly or used to prepare commercial formulations for disinfecting swimming pool water. It describes the characteristics of sodium dichloroisocyanurate, anhydrous and specifies the requirements and the corresponding test methods for sodium dichloroisocyanurate, anhydrous. It gives information on its use for treating swimming pool water and determines the rules relating to safe handling and use (see Annex B).

La présente Norme européenne est applicable au dichloroisocyanurate de sodium anhydre utilisé directement ou pour préparer des formulations commerciales pour désinfecter l’eau des piscines. Elle décrit les caractéristiques du dichloroisocyanurate de sodium anhydre et spécifie les exigences et les méthodes d’essai correspondant à ce produit. Elle donne des informations pour son utilisation dans le traitement de l’eau des piscines. Elle fixe également les règles relatives à la sécurité d’emploi et de manipulation (voir Annexe B).

3 Foreword This document (EN 15072:2013) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 164 “Water supply”, the secretariat of which is held by AFNOR. This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by November 2013, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by November 2013.
