The formal decisions or agreements of the I E C on technical matters, prepared by Technical Committees on which all the

National Committees having a special interest therein are represented, express, as nearly as possible, an international
consensus of opinion on the subjects dealt with.
2) They have the form of recommendations for international use and they are accepted by the National Committees in that
sense.
In order to promote this international unification, the IE C expresses the wish that all National Committees having as

NACIONALNI UVOD
Standard SIST IEC 60196 (sl), Standardne frekvence IEC, prva izdaja, 2002, ima status slovenskega
standarda in je enakovreden mednarodnemu standardu IEC 60196 (en), IEC standard frequencies,
1965-01.
NACIONALNI PREDGOVOR
Mednarodni standard IEC 60196:1965 je pripravil tehnični odbor Mednarodne organizacije za
standardizacijo IEC/TC 8 Standardne napetosti, tokovi in frekvence.
Slovenski standard SIST IEC 60196:2002 je prevod mednarodnega standarda IEC 60196:1965. V
primeru spora glede besedila slovenskega prevoda v tem standardu je odločilen izvirni mednarodni
standard v angleškem jeziku. Slovensko izdajo standarda je pripravil tehnični odbor SIST/TC NTF
Standardne napetosti, tokovi in frekvence.
Ta slovenski standard je dne 2002-.-. odobrila direktorica SIST.
