This European Standard specifies an analytical method for the determination of iron in zinc alloys by spectrophotometry. It is applicable to the products specified in prEN 1774 and prEN ..(00209007). It is suitable for the determination of iron content between 0,01 % and 0,08 %.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie une méthode spectrophotométrique pour le dosage du fer dans les alliages de zinc. Elle s'applique aux produits spécifiés dans l'EN 1774 et l'EN 12844.
Cette méthode convient pour la détermination des teneurs (fractions massiques) du fer comprises entre 0,01 % et 0,1 %.
