This European standard specifies the characteristics of UV laser printable jacket, tin plated copper conductor, electrical cables Crosslinked Ethylene Tetra Fluoro Ethylene co-polymer (XLETFE) family for use in the on-board electrical systems of aircraft operating at temperatures between – 65 °C and 135 °C, operating at voltages not exceeding 600 V r.m.s and frequencies not exceeding 2 000 Hz. These jacketed cables are suitable for airframe use without additional protection when the jacket is present. When the jacket is stripped back the cores may need additional protection. In case of conflict between this standard and other referenced documents the requirements of this standard shall take precedence.

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Eigenschaften von elektrischen Leitungen mit UV-Laser bedruckbarem
Mantel, mit Leiter aus Kupfer verzinnt, aus der XLETFE-Familie (quervernetztes Ethylen-Tetrafluorethylen-Co-
Polymer) zur Verwendung in elektrischen Bordnetzen von Luftfahrzeugen für Betriebstemperaturen zwischen
−65 °C und 135 °C und Spannungen bis 600 V (Effektivwert) und Frequenzen bis 2 000 Hz fest. Wenn der
Mantel vorhanden ist, sind diese ummantelten Leitungen ohne zusätzlichen Schutz für die Verlegung in Luftfahrzeugzellen
geeignet. Ist der Mantel abisoliert, können die Adern einen zusätzlichen Schutz benötigen. Im
Schiedsfall zwischen dieser Norm und anderen Referenzdokumenten müssen die Anforderungen dieser Norm
Vorrang haben.

La présente Norme Européenne spécifie les caractéristiques des conducteurs en cuivre étamé gainé,
marquable au laser UV de la famille des Copolymère Ethylène, Tétra Fluoro Ethylène Réticulé (XLETFE)
utilisés dans les systèmes de bord des aéronefs à une température de fonctionnement comprise entre – 65 °C
et 135 °C, à une tension n’excédant pas 600 V eff. et une fréquence de 2 000 Hz. Ces câbles gainés sont
utilisables en cellule sans protection supplémentaire quand la gaine est présente. Quand la gaine est
dénudée le conducteur peut avoir une protection additionnelle. En cas de conflit entre cette norme et un autre
document de référence, les exigences de cette norme doivent être prises en première considération.

Ta evropski standard določa značilnosti električnih kablov iz družine zamreženega etilen-tetrafluoretilen kopolimera (XLETFE), s prevodnikom iz pocinjenega bakra, s plaščem z možnostjo UV-laserskega potiska za uporabo v električnih sistemih na krovu zračnega plovila pri obratovalnih temperaturah med -65 °C in 135 °C, delujočih pri napetostih, ki ne presegajo 600 V r.m.s, in frekvencah, ki ne presegajo 2000 Hz.
