This document specifies the required characteristics for heat-shrinkable semi rigid polyvinylidene identification sleeves for use in aircraft electrical systems at operating temperatures between -55 °C and 225 °C.
This specification is for the characterisation of Identification sleeves only.
This sleeving is a semi rigid tough product and is suitable for use where high temperatures and extreme fluid resistance properties are required.
It is available with a shrink ratio of 2:1.
The product is normally supplied with internal diameters up to 38 mm
The standard colours are white, black or yellow
For use at temperatures above 200 °C black with white or silver ink is recommended
Sizes or colours other than those specifically listed in this standard may be available. These items shall be considered to comply with this document if they comply with the property requirements listed in tables 2 and 3 except for dimensions and mass.
As the sleeving to be tested is a printed article the complete system is to be recorded as part of the evaluation. The sleeve will only be considered as meeting the requirements of this specification if printed with the printer, ribbon/inks and settings referenced within the test report.
Mark adherence and print permanence are determined in this document using method EN 6059-407.

Le présent document spécifie les caractéristiques requises pour les manchons d’identification semi-rigides en polyfluorure de vinylidène destinés à une utilisation dans les systèmes électriques des aéronefs à des températures de fonctionnement comprises entre –55 °C et 225 °C.
Cette spécification est uniquement destinée à la caractérisation des manchons d’identification.
Ce type de manchon est un produit semi-rigide, solide et est adapté à un usage nécessitant des propriétés de résistance extrême aux fluides et aux températures élevées.
Il est proposé avec un coefficient de rétreint de 2:1.
Le produit est normalement fourni avec des diamètres intérieurs allant jusqu’à 38 mm.
Les couleurs usuelles sont le blanc, le noir ou le jaune.
Pour une utilisation à des températures supérieures à 200 °C, il est recommandé d'utiliser du noir avec de l'encre blanche ou argentée.
D’autres tailles ou d’autres couleurs que celles mentionnées spécifiquement dans la présente norme peuvent être disponibles. Ces articles doivent être considérés comme conformes au présent document s’ils répondent aux exigences de propriétés présentées dans le Tableau 2 et le Tableau 3, exception faite des dimensions et masses.
Étant donné que le manchon à soumettre à essai est un article imprimé, il est nécessaire d’enregistrer le système complet en tant que partie intégrante de l’évaluation. Le manchon ne sera considéré comme respectant les exigences de la présente spécification que s’il est marqué à l’aide de l’imprimante, du ruban, des encres et des paramètres référencés dans le rapport d’essai.

Ta dokument določa zahtevane lastnosti za toplotno skrčljive poltoge polivinilidenske identifikacijske cevke za uporabo v električnih sistemih letal pri obratovalnih temperaturah med –55 °C in 225 °C.
Ta specifikacija je namenjena samo določanju lastnosti identifikacijskih cevk.
Te cevke so poltoge in vzdržljive ter so primerne za uporabo, kadar se zahtevata visoka temperatura in izjemna odpornost proti tekočinam.
Na voljo so v razmerju krčenja 2:1.
Izdelek je običajno dobavljiv z notranjimi premeri do 38 mm.
Standardna barva je bela, črna ali rumena.
Za uporabo pri temperaturah nad 200 °C se priporoča črno-belo ali srebrno črnilo.
Na voljo so lahko tudi druge velikosti in barve, ki niso posebej navedene v tem standardu. Te postavke so obravnavne kot skladne s tem dokumentom, če izpolnjujejo zahteve za lastnosti v preglednicah 2 in 3, razen zahtev za mere in maso.
