Plastics piping and ducting systems - Thermoplastics pipes - Determination of tensile properties

This standard specifies a method for determining the short-term tensile properties in the longitudinal direction and, in particular, the tensile stress at yield and/or at maximum load, and elongation at break of thermoplastics pipes and ducts. This European Standard is applicable to all types of thermoplastics pipes, regardless of their intended use.

Diese Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung der Eigenschaften im Kurzzeit-Zugversuch in Rohrlängsrichtung fest; im einzelnen sind dies: Streckspannung und Spannung bei maximaler Belastung, und Bruchdehnung von Rohren aus Thermoplasten. Diese  Norm ist für alle Arten von Rohren aus Thermoplasten anwendbar, unabhängig von deren vorgesehenen Verwendung.

Cette norme spécifie une méthode pour la détermination des propriétés en traction de courte durée dans le sens longitudinal et en particulier: la contrainte au seuil d'écoulement, et/ou a la charge maximale, et l'allongement a la rupture des tubes et gaines thermoplastiques. Cette norme est applicable a tous les types de tubes thermoplastiques, quelle que soit leur application.
