This European Standard is applicable to ammonia solution used for treatment of water intended for human consumption. It describes the characteristics and specifies the requirements of ammonia solution and refers to the corresponding analytical methods. It gives information for its use in water treatment. It also determines the rules relating to safe handling and use of ammonia solution (see Annex B).

sung fest und verweist auf die entsprechenden Analysenverfahren. Sie gibt Informationen für die Anwendung von Ammoniaklösung in der Wasseraufbereitung. Sie legt darüber hinaus Regeln für die sichere Handhabung und Benutzung von Ammoniaklösung fest (siehe AnhangB).

Il décrit les caractéristiques et spécifie les exigences relatives à l’ammoniaque, ainsi que les méthodes d’analyses correspondantes. Il donne des informations pour son emploi dans le traitement de l’eau. Il fixe également les règles relatives à la sécurité d’emploi et de manipulation de l’ammoniaque (voir l’Annexe B).

supply”, the secretariat of which is held by AFNOR.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an

withdrawn at the latest by June 2025.
