Wastewater lifting plants for buildings and sites - Part 2: Lifting plants for faecal-free wastewater

This European Standard applies to lifting plants for faecal-free wastewater for drainage of locations below flood level in buildings and sites to prevent any backflow of wastewater into the building. These lifting plants may be prefabricated or delivered as prefabricated kits and assembled on site. This standard specifies general requirements, basic construction and testing principles, together with information on materials and assessment and verification of constancy of performance.
Construction and testing requirements for non-return valves used in wastewater lifting plants are given in EN 12050 4.
This European Standard does not apply for pumping installations for drain and sewer systems outside buildings for pumping of municipal wastewater according to EN 752:2008, Annex F.
This European Standard applies also to lifting plants for faecal-free wastewater which are not prefabricated but composed of individual components purchased from different suppliers and put together on site.

Abwasserhebeanlagen für die Gebäude- und Grundstücksentwässerung - Teil 2: Abwasserhebeanlagen für fäkalienfreies Abwasser

Diese Europäische Norm gilt für Hebeanlagen für fäkalienfreies Abwasser zur rückstausicheren Entwässerung von Ablaufstellen in Gebäuden und auf Grundstücken unterhalb der Rückstauebene. Diese Abwasserhebe-anlagen können werkseitig zusammengebaut oder als Bausatz geliefert und vor Ort zusammengebaut werden. Die vorliegende Norm legt allgemeine Anforderungen, Bau- und Prüfgrundsätze sowie Angaben zu Werkstoffen und zur Bewertung und Überprüfung der Leistungsbeständigkeit fest.
Festlegungen zu Bau- und Prüfgrundsätzen für Rückflussverhinderer für Abwasserhebeanlagen sind in EN 12050-4 enthalten.
Diese Europäische Norm gilt nicht für Pumpanlagen für Entwässerungssysteme außerhalb von Gebäuden zur Förderung von kommunalem Abwasser nach EN 752:2008, Anhang F.
Diese Europäische Norm gilt auch für Hebeanlagen für fäkalienfreies Abwasser, die nicht werkseitig zusammengebaut sind sondern aus Einzelkomponenten bestehen, die von unterschiedlichen Zulieferern eingekauft und vor Ort zusammengebaut werden.

Stations de relevage d'effluents pour les bâtiments et terrains - Partie 2: Stations de relevage pour effluents exempts de matières fécales

La présente Norme européenne s’applique aux stations de relevage pour effluents exempts de matières fécales, assurant le drainage sans reflux des points d'écoulement qui se situent en dessous de la hauteur de refoulement dans les bâtiments et les terrains. Ces stations de relevage peuvent être préfabriquées ou fournies sous forme de kits préfabriqués à assembler sur place. La présente norme spécifie des exigences générales, des principes fondamentaux de construction et d'essai, ainsi que des informations sur les matériaux et l'évaluation et la vérification de la constance des performances.
Les exigences de construction et d'essai relatives aux dispositifs anti-retour dans les stations de relevage d'effluents sont définies dans l'EN 12050 4.
La présente Norme européenne ne s'applique pas aux installations de pompage destinées aux réseaux d'évacuation et d'assainissement à l'extérieur des bâtiments qui sont utilisées pour le pompage des eaux usées municipales conformément à l'EN 752:2008, Annexe F.
La présente Norme européenne s'applique également aux stations de relevage pour effluents exempts de matières fécales qui sont non pas préfabriquées, mais constituées de composants individuels achetés auprès de différents fournisseurs et assemblés sur place.

Ta del evropskega standarda se uporablja za črpališča odpadne vode brez fekalij, za odvodnjavanje delov stavb pod poplavno ravnjo in zemljišč zunaj stavb zaradi preprečevanja povratnega toka odpadne vode nazaj v stavbo. Ta del tega evropskega standarda vsebuje splošne zahteve, osnovna načela zasnove in preskušanja, skupaj z informacijami o materialih ter vrednotenju skladnosti. OPOMBA 1: Zahteve za zasnovo in preskušanje nepovratnih ventilov za črpališča odpadne vode brez fekalij so določene v standardu EN 12050-4. OPOMBA 2: Za črpalne napeljave za odvajanje in kanalizacije zunaj stavb, ki se uporabljajo za črpanje v javno kanalizacijo, glej standard EN 752:-2008, dodatek F.

Overview - EN 12050-2:2015 (CEN)

EN 12050-2:2015 is the European standard for wastewater lifting plants for faecal-free wastewater used to drain rooms or sites located below the flood level and to prevent backflow into buildings. Published by CEN, it covers prefabricated units, prefabricated kits assembled on site, and systems assembled from separately sourced components. The standard sets out general requirements, basic construction and testing principles, guidance on materials, and the rules for assessment and verification of constancy of performance (AVCP).

5 l a For connecting all appliances, layout and calculation in accordance with EN 12056–4. 4.4 Control equipment Faecal-free lifting plants shall be fitted with control equipment for automatic operation of the plant. Manual operation shall also be possible, if necessary by activating the switching device for automatic control. 4.5 Electrical equipment The electrical equipment of the plant shall comply with at least protection type IP 44 according to EN 60529. 4.6 Fixing devices Faecal-free lifting plants with a collection tank shall incorporate fixing devices to prevent rotation or floatation. 4.7 Reaction to fire 4.7.1 General Where use of a plant is subject to national regulatory requirements on reaction to fire, its reaction to fire performance shall be considered as that of its components (i.e. material approach) and shall be declared as one of the following classes, according to EN 13501-1: a) Class A1, without the need for testing (CWT), when meeting the requirements, specified in 4.7.2, or otherwise; b) Class A1 to E, defined according to the results of testing the plant's constituent material(s), according to the standard(s) referred to in EN 13501-1, as specified in 4.7.3 of this standard. 4.7.2 Plants classified as Class A1 without the need for testing The reaction to fire performance of a plant shall be declared as Class A11) without the need for testing, provided that: a) each of the plant's constituent materials contains not more than 1 % of homogeneously distributed organic material, by mass or volume (whichever is the most onerous); and b) any external coating, if applied over the surface area of the plant, is made of inorganic material(s), which is/are also classified as Class A1.

The manufacturer shall always retain the overall control and shall have the necessary means to take responsibility for the conformity of the product with its declared performance(s).
