This document specifies the methods of preparation of test specimens and the test methods to be
used in determining the properties of acrylonitrile-styrene-acrylate (ASA), acrylonitrile-(ethylenepropylenediene)-
styrene (AEPDS) and acrylonitrile-(chlorinated polyethylene)-styrene (ACS) moulding
and extrusion materials. Requirements for handling the test material and for conditioning both the test
material before moulding and the specimens before testing are given.
Procedures and conditions for the preparation of test specimens and procedures for measuring
properties of the materials from which these specimens are made are given. Properties and test
methods which are suitable and necessary to characterize ASA, AEPDS and ACS moulding and extrusion
materials are listed.
The properties have been selected from the general test methods in ISO 10350-1. Other test methods in
wide use for, or of particular significance to, these moulding and extrusion materials are also included
in this document, as are the designatory properties specified in ISO 19065-1.
In order to obtain reproducible and comparable test results, it is intended to use the methods of
specimen preparation and conditioning, the specimen dimensions and the test procedures specified in
this document. Values determined will not necessarily be identical to those obtained using specimens
of different dimensions or prepared using different procedures.

Dieses Dokument legt die Verfahren zur Herstellung von Probekörpern und die anzuwendenden Prüfverfahren zur Bestimmung der Eigenschaften von Acrylnitril-Styrol-Acrylat (ASA)-, Acrylnitril-(Ethylen-Propylen-Dien)-Styrol (AEPDS)- und Acrylnitril-(Chloriertes Polyethylen)-Styrol (ACS)-Form-massen fest. Anforderungen an die Behandlung des Probenmaterials und für die Konditionierung des Probenmaterials vor der Herstellung der Probekörper sowie der Probekörper vor der Prüfung sind ebenfalls enthalten.
Verfahren und Bedingungen für die Herstellung der Probekörper und Vorschriften für die Bestimmung der Eigen¬schaften der Werkstoffe, aus denen die Probekörper hergestellt werden, sind angegeben. Eigen-schaften und Prüfverfahren, die anwendbar und notwendig sind, um ASA-, AEPDS- und ACS-Formmassen zu charakterisieren, sind aufgelistet.
Die Eigenschaften wurden aus den allgemeinen Prüfverfahren, die in ISO 10350 1 festgelegt sind, ausgewählt. Andere weithin gebräuchliche Prüfverfahren oder solche von besonderer Bedeutung für diese Formmassen, wie die kennzeichnenden Eigenschaften nach ISO 19065 1, sind in dieses Dokument aufgenommen.
Um reproduzierbare und vergleichbare Prüfergebnisse zu erhalten, ist es vorgesehen, dass die in diesem Dokument festgelegten Verfahren der Probekörperherstellung und  konditionierung, die Probe-körpermaße sowie die Prüfverfahren angewendet werden. Die gemessenen Werte werden nicht zwingend mit denen identisch sein, die bei der Anwendung von Probekörpern anderer Abmessungen oder solchen, die mit anderen Verfahren hergestellt wurden, erhalten werden.

Le présent document spécifie les méthodes de préparation des éprouvettes et les méthodes d'essai qui doivent être utilisées pour la détermination des propriétés des matériaux à base d'acrylonitrile-styrène-acrylate (ASA), d'acrylonitrile-(éthylène-propylène-diène)-styrène (AEPDS) et d'acrylonitrile-(polyéthylène chloré)-styrène (ACS) pour moulage et extrusion. Les exigences relatives à la manipulation du matériau d'essai et au conditionnement du matériau d'essai avant moulage et des éprouvettes avant essai sont indiquées.
Les modes opératoires et les conditions nécessaires à la préparation des éprouvettes, ainsi que les modes opératoires de mesure des propriétés des matériaux à partir desquels les éprouvettes sont obtenues sont donnés. Les propriétés et méthodes d'essai qui sont utiles et nécessaires pour caractériser les matériaux pour moulage et extrusion à base d'ASA, d'AEPDS et d'ACS sont énumérées.
Les propriétés ont été sélectionnées parmi les méthodes d'essai générales de l'ISO 10350-1. D'autres méthodes d'essai largement utilisées ou qui revêtent une importance particulière pour ces matériaux pour moulage et extrusion sont aussi incluses dans le présent document; c'est le cas des propriétés de désignation spécifiées dans l'ISO 19065‑1.
Dans le but d'obtenir des résultats d'essai reproductibles et comparables, il est nécessaire d'utiliser les méthodes de préparation et de conditionnement des éprouvettes, les dimensions d'éprouvette ainsi que les modes opératoires d'essai spécifiés dans le présent document. Les valeurs déterminées ne seront pas nécessairement identiques à celles obtenues en utilisant des éprouvettes de dimensions différentes ou préparées selon des modes opératoires différents.

Ta dokument določa metode za pripravo preskušancev in preskusnih metod za uporabo pri ugotavljanju lastnosti materialov na osnovi kopolimerov akrilonitril-stiren-akrilata (ASA), akrilonitril-(etilen-propilen-dien)-
stirena (AEPDS) ter akrilonitril-(klorirani polietilen)-stirena (ACS) za oblikovanje in ekstrudiranje. Podane so zahteve za ravnanje s preskusnim materialom ter obdelavo preskusnega materiala pred oblikovanjem in obdelavo preskušancev pred preskušanjem.
Podani so postopki in pogoji za pripravo preskušancev ter postopki za merjenje lastnosti materialov, iz katerih so izdelani preskušanci. Navedene so lastnosti in preskusne metode, ki so primerne in nujne za opredelitev materialov na osnovi kopolimerov akrilonitril-stiren-akrilata, akrilonitril-(etilen-propilen-dien)-stirena ter akrilonitril-(klorirani polietilen)-stirena za oblikovanje in ekstrudiranje.
Lastnosti so bile izbrane na podlagi splošnih preskusnih metod iz standarda ISO 10350-1. Druge preskusne metode, ki so v splošni uporabi ali so posebej pomembne za te materiale za oblikovanje in ekstrudiranje, so prav tako vključene v ta dokument. Vključene so tudi označevalne lastnosti, določene v standardu ISO 19065-1.
Da se zagotovijo primerljivi in ponovljivi rezultati preskusa, naj se uporabljajo metode priprave in obdelave primerka, mere preskušanca ter preskusni postopki, ki so določeni v
tem dokumentu. Pri tem ni nujno, da bodo ugotovljene vrednosti enake tistim, ki so pridobljene z uporabo preskušancev,
ki imajo drugačne mere ali so pripravljeni z uporabo drugih postopkov.

Introduction
There are many methods for testing properties of plastics. For some methods, the data obtained by
different standards are not comparable. Even when the same standards have been used, they often allow
the adoption of a wide range of alternative test conditions, and the data obtained are not necessarily
comparable. The purpose of this document is to specify methods and conditions of test to be used
for the acquisition and presentation of data to ensure that valid comparisons between acrylonitrile-
styrene-acrylate (ASA), acrylonitrile-(ethylene-propylene-diene)-styrene (AEPDS) and acrylonitrile-
(chlorinated polyethylene)-styrene (ACS) materials can be made.
