Preparation of steel substrates before application of paints and related products - Test methods for non-metallic blast-cleaning abrasives - Part 4: Assessment of hardness by a glass slide test (ISO 11127-4:2011)

This is one of a number of parts of ISO 11127 dealing with the sampling and testing of non-metallic abrasives for blast-cleaning. The types of non-metallic abrasive and requirements on each are contained in ISO 11126. The ISO 11126 and ISO 11127 series have been drafted as a coherent set of International Standards on nonmetallic
blast-cleaning abrasives. Information on all parts of both series is given in Annex A. This part of ISO 11127 specifies a method of assessing whether a non-metallic blast-cleaning abrasive has a minimum hardness of 6 on Mohs’ scale. NOTE The test described in this part of ISO 11127 is a pass/fail test and is not a method for the accurate determination of hardness.

Dies ist ein Teil aus einer Reihe von Teilen der Norm ISO 11127, welche die Probenahme und die Prüfung von nichtmetallischen Strahlmitteln behandelt.
Die verschiedenen Arten nichtmetallischer Strahlmittel und Anforderungen an diese sind in den verschiedenen Teilen von ISO 11126 enthalten.
Die Normenreihen ISO 11126 und ISO 11127 wurden als zusammengehöriger Satz von Internationalen Normen über nichtmetallische Strahlmittel ausgearbeitet. Angaben über alle Teile der beiden Normenreihen sind im Anhang A enthalten.
Dieser Teil von ISO 11127 legt ein Verfahren fest zur Abschätzung, ob ein nichtmetallisches Strahlmittel eine Mindesthärte von 6 nach der Mohsskala aufweist.
ANMERKUNG   Die in diesem Teil von ISO 11127 beschriebene Prüfung ist eine Ja/Nein-Prüfung und kein Verfahren für die genaue Bestimmung der Härte.

L'ISO 11127-4:2011 spécifie une méthode pour déterminer si un abrasif non métallique destiné à la préparation par projection a une dureté minimale de 6 sur l'échelle de Mohs.

Skupini ISO 11126 in ISO 11127 sta bili pripravljeni kot skladen sklop mednarodnih standardov za nekovinske granulate za peskanje. Informacije o vseh delih obeh skupin so podane v dodatku A. Ta del standarda ISO 11127 določa metodo za ocenjevanje, ali ima nekovinski granulat za peskanje najmanjšo trdoto 6 po Mohsovi lestvici. OPOMBA: Rezultat preskusa iz tega dela standarda ISO 11127 pove zgolj, ali je preskus opravljen ali ne, in na njegovi podlagi se ne sme sklepati o natančni trdoti.
