Adhesives for load-bearing timber structures - Test methods - Part 3: Determination of the effect of acid damage to wood fibres by temperature and humidity cycling on the transverse tensile strength
This European Standard specifies a method for determining the effect on bond strength of damage to wood fibres caused by the action of acids from the adhesive or primer used in the gluing process during climatic cycling. It is suitable for the following applications: a) for assessing the compliance of adhesives with EN 301, EN 15425 and FprEN 16254; b) for assessing the suitability and quality of adhesives for load-bearing timber structures; c) for determining if the adhesive after bonding has a damaging influence on the strength of the wood due to chemical action. This test is intended primarily to obtain performance data for the classification of adhesives for load-bearing timber structures according to their suitability for use in defined climatic environments. This test is carried out on Norway spruce (Picea abies L.). This method is not intended for use to provide numerical design data and does not necessarily represent the performance of the bonded member in service.
Klebstoffe für tragende Holzbauteile - Prüfverfahren - Teil 3: Bestimmung des Einflusses von Säureschädigung der Holzfasern durch Temperatur- und Feuchtezyklen auf die Querzugfestigkeit
Diese Europäische Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung des Einflusses von Holzfaserschädigung auf die Klebstofffugenfestigkeit, verursacht durch die Wirkung von Säuren des Klebstoffs oder eines im Klebeprozess eingesetzten Haftvermittlers (Primer) während einer zyklischen Klimabeanspruchung, fest.
Sie ist für folgende Anwendungsfälle geeignet:
a) zur Beurteilung der Übereinstimmung von Klebstoffen mit EN 301, EN 15425 und EN 16254;
b) zur Beurteilung der Eignung und Qualität von Klebstoffen für tragende Holzbauteile;
c) zur Feststellung, ob der Klebstoff nach der Verklebung infolge chemischer Vorgänge einen schädigenden Einfluss auf die Holzfestigkeit hat.
Diese Prüfung dient hauptsächlich der Bestimmung von Leistungswerten zur Klassifizierung von Klebstoffen für tragende Holzbauteile entsprechend ihrer Eignung zum Einsatz unter bestimmten klimatischen Bedin¬gungen. Diese Prüfung wird mit Fichte (Picea abies L.) durchgeführt.
Dieses Verfahren ist nicht dafür vorgesehen, Bemessungswerte bereitzustellen und gibt nicht zwangsläufig die Leistungsfähigkeit des verklebten Bauteiles im Gebrauch wieder.

La présente Norme européenne décrit une méthode de détermination de l’influence sur la résistance à la rupture d’un joint de l’attaque des fibres de bois provoquée par l’action d’acides contenus dans l’adhésif ou un primaire utilisé lors du processus de collage pendant des cycles climatiques.
Elle concerne les applications suivantes :
a) évaluation de la conformité des adhésifs à l’EN 301, à l’EN 15425 et à l’EN 16254 ;
b) évaluation de l’aptitude à l’emploi et de la qualité des adhésifs pour les structures portantes en bois ;
c) détermination de l’éventuelle influence nuisible de l’adhésif après collage sur la résistance du bois résultant d’une action chimique.
Le présent essai est principalement destiné à obtenir des données de performances en vue de la classification des adhésifs pour les structures portantes en bois en fonction de leur aptitude à l’utilisation dans des environnements climatiques définis. Cet essai est réalisé sur de l’épicéa (Picea abies L.) ou sur du hêtre (Fagus sylvatica L.).
La présente méthode n’est pas destinée à fournir des données numériques relatives à la conception et ne représente pas nécessairement les performances de l’élément collé dans son application.

Ta evropski standard določa metodo za ugotavljanje vpliva poškodb lesnih vlaken na sprijemno trdnost, ki nastanejo zaradi delovanja kislin iz lepila ali premaza, uporabljenega pri postopku lepljenja, med podnebno obremenitvijo. Metoda se uporablja za: a) oceno skladnosti lepil s standardi EN 301, EN 15425 in FprEN 16254; b) oceno ustreznosti in kakovosti lepil za nosilne lesene konstrukcije; c) ugotavljanje, ali ima lepilo po sprijemanju škodljiv vpliv na trdnost lesa zaradi delovanja kemikalij. Ta preskus je namenjen zlasti pridobivanju podatkov o lastnostih za razvrstitev lepil za nosilne lesene konstrukcije glede na njihovo ustreznost za uporabo v opredeljenih podnebnih okoljih. Pri tem poskusu se uporablja norveška smreka (Picea abies L.). Ta metoda ni namenjena za zagotavljanje številskih podatkov o zasnovi, pri čemer ne predstavlja nujno lastnosti zlepljenega elementa v uporabi.

Introduction
