This European Standard specifies requirements for the design and manufacture of static welded steel cylindrical tanks, serially produced for the storage of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) with a volume not greater than 13 m3 and for installation above ground.

Diese Europäische Norm legt Anforderungen hinsichtlich der Konstruktion und Herstellung ortsfester, geschweißter zylindrischer Behälter aus Stahl fest, die serienmäßig für die Lagerung von Flüssiggas (LPG) gefertigt wurden, mit einem Fassungsraum bis zu 13 m3 für oberirdische Aufstellung.

La présente norme européenne spécifie les exigences minimales relatives aux matériaux, au calcul, a la procédure de construction et d'exécution, et aux essais en usine des réservoirs cylindriques fixes en acier soudés, de série, destinés au stockage de GPL, présentant un volume inférieur ou égal a 13m cube destinés a une installation aérienne. La gamme normalisée s'appuie sur des réservoirs cylindriques a fonds semi-elliptiques et torisphériques. Un grand nombre de diametres et d'épaisseur normalisés sont spécifiés en utilisant des nuances de matériaux sélectionnés dans les parties 2 et 3 de l'EN 10028.
