This European Standard specifies a method for the determination of chlorides in the absence of organic material. The method is applicable to all fertilizers which are free from organic material.

This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by May 2013, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by May 2013.
