Furniture - Assessment of the surface resistance to abrasion
This European standard specifies a method for the assessment of the abrasion resistance of surfaces referred to under clause 7.4. It does not apply to leather and textile surfaces. It does not apply to the surfaces covered by FprEN 14434. The test is intended to be carried out on a part of the finished furniture, but can be carried out on test panels of the same material, finished in an identical manner to the finished product, and of a size sufficient to meet the requirements of the test. The test shall be carried out on unused surfaces.
Möbel - Bewertung der Abriebfestigkeit von Oberflächen
Diese Europäische Norm legt ein Verfahren für die Bewertung der Abriebfestigkeit von Oberflächen fest, auf die in 7.4 Bezug genommen wird.
Sie gilt nicht für Oberflächen aus Leder und Gewebe.
Sie gilt nicht für die Oberflächen von Wandtafeln nach FprEN 14434.
Es ist vorgesehen, die Prüfung an einem Teil des gebrauchsfertigen Möbels auszuführen, aber sie kann auch an Prüfkörpern ausgeführt werden, die aus dem gleichen Werkstoff mit identischer Oberflächenbehandlung wie das gebrauchsfertige Produkt hergestellt wurden, und eine ausreichende Größe haben, um den Prüf-anforderungen zu entsprechen.
Die Prüfung ist an unbenutzten Oberflächen auszuführen.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie une méthode d’évaluation de la résistance à l’abrasion des surfaces désignées en 7.4.
Elle ne s’applique ni au cuir, ni aux textiles.
Elle ne s’applique pas aux surfaces traitées dans le FprEN 14434.
L’essai est destiné à être réalisé sur une partie des meubles finis, mais il peut être effectué sur des panneaux d’essai du même matériau, de finition identique au meuble fini et de dimensions suffisantes pour satisfaire aux exigences de l’essai.
L’essai doit être réalisé sur des surfaces neuves.

Ta evropski standard določa preskusno metodo za odpornost površin proti obrabi, ki je omenjena v točki 7.4. Ne uporablja se za usnjene in tekstilne površine. Ne uporablja se za površine, ki jih pokriva standard FprEN 14434. Preskus naj bi se izvedel na delu končanega kosa pohištva, lahko pa se izvede tudi na preskusnih ploščah iz istega materiala, ki so obdelane na identičen način kot končan izdelek, njihova velikost pa mora biti dovolj velika, da ustreza zahtevam preskusa. Preskus je treba izvesti na še nerabljenih površinah.
