Respiratory protective devices - AX gas filters and combined filters against low boiling organic compounds - Requirements, testing, marking

This European Standard refers to gas filters and combined filters against low boiling organic compounds, as specified in [clause] 4,  for use as components in unassisted respiratory protective devices, with the exception of escape apparatus and filtering facepieces. It specifies minimum requirements for these filters for use as part of respiratory protective devices.  Laboratory and practical performance tests are included for the assessment of compliance with the requirements.

Diese  Europäische Norm bezieht sich auf Gasfilter und Kombinationsfilter gegen niedrigsiedende organische Verbindungen nach Abschnitt 4 als Einzelteile für Atemschutzgeräte ohne Luftversorgung; sie gilt nicht für Fluchtgeräte und filtrierende Atemanschlüsse. Für diese Filter als Teil eines Atemschutzgerätes werden Mindestanforderungen genannt. Laborprüfungen sind enthalten, um die Übereinstimmung mit den Anforderungen feststellen zu können.

La présente Norme européenne se rapporte aux filtres anti-gaz et aux filtres combinés contre les composés organiques a bas point d'ébullition, tels que spécifiés en 4, destinés a etre utilisés en tant que composants des appareils de protection respiratoire non assistés, a l'exception des appareils d'évacuation et des pieces faciales filtrantes. Elle spécifie les exigences minimales requises de ces filtres qui sont destinés a etre utilisés en tant que partie intégrante des appareils de protection respiratoire.
