The European Standard specifies the characteristics of plain steel washers, small, normal and large series, of product grade A with hardness classes 200 HV and 300 HV for metric screw and washer assemblies according to ISO 10644.

Diese Internationale Norm legt die Eigenschaften von flachen Scheiben aus Stahl der kleinen, normalen und
großen Reihe in Produktklasse A für metrische Kombi-Schrauben nach ISO 10644 fest.
ANMERKUNG 1 Das Produkt kann unter den in Abschnitt 5 definierten Bedingungen hergestellt werden.
ANMERKUNG 2 Die Herstellung von Kombi-Schrauben berücksichtigt Werkstoff und die Produktionsverfahren von
Schraubenrohling und flacher Scheibe sowie die Montageprozess der einzelnen Bauteile, um die technischen Lieferbedingungen
erfüllen zu können.

This document (EN ISO 10673:2009) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 2 "Fasteners" in
collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 185 “Fasteners” the secretariat of which is held by DIN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by January 2010, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at
the latest by January 2010.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent

This document supersedes EN ISO 10673:1998.

Foreword
ISO (the International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies
(ISO member bodies). The work of preparing International Standards is normally carried out through ISO
technical committees. Each member body interested in a subject for which a technical committee has been
established has the right to be represented on that committee. International organizations, governmental and
non-governmental, in liaison with ISO, also take part in the work. ISO collaborates closely with the
International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) on all matters of electrotechnical standardization.
International Standards are drafted in accordance with the rules given in the ISO/IEC Directives, Part 2.
The main task of technical committees is to prepare International Standards. Draft International Standards
