This European Standard specifies the requirements for metric screw and plain washer assemblies with coarse thread M2 to M12 inclusive, flat seating heads, property classes up to and including 10.9 and washer hardness classes 200 HV and 300 HV. The plain washers are captive, i.e. prevented from disassembly and free to rotate.

Diese Internationale Norm legt die Anforderungen für Metrische Kombi-Schrauben mit flachen Scheiben aus Stahl mit Regelgewinde von M2 bis M12, flach aufliegenden Köpfen, Festigkeitsklassen bis einschließlich 10.9 und Scheiben der Härteklassen 200 HV oder 300 HV fest.
Die Scheiben sind unverlierbar, d. h. eine Demontage ist nicht möglich und sie können sich frei drehen.
ANMERKUNG Die Herstellung von Kombi-Schrauben berücksichtigt Werkstoff und Produktionsverfahren von
Schraubenrohling und Scheibe sowie den Montageprozess der Bauteile, um die technischen Lieferbedingungen erfüllen
zu können (siehe Anhang A).

L'ISO 10644:2009 spécifie les exigences relatives aux vis à filetage métrique à rondelle plate incorporée en acier, ayant un filetage à pas gros de M2 à M12 inclus, des têtes plates, de classes de qualité jusqu'à 10.9 inclus et de classes de dureté des rondelles 200 HV ou 300 HV.

Ta mednarodni standard določa zahteve za metrični vijak in navadno okroglo ravno podložko z ozkim navojem od M2 do vključno M12, ploščatimi glavami, lastnostnih razredov do vključno 10.9 in trdoto podložke 200 HV in 300 HV. Ravne podložke so ujete, tj. ne morejo se razstaviti, lahko pa se prosto vrtijo.

This document (EN ISO 10644:2009) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 2 "Fasteners" in
collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 185 “Fasteners” the secretariat of which is held by DIN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by January 2010, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at
the latest by January 2010.

Foreword
ISO (the International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies
(ISO member bodies). The work of preparing International Standards is normally carried out through ISO
technical committees. Each member body interested in a subject for which a technical committee has been
established has the right to be represented on that committee. International organizations, governmental and
non-governmental, in liaison with ISO, also take part in the work. ISO collaborates closely with the
International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) on all matters of electrotechnical standardization.
International Standards are drafted in accordance with the rules given in the ISO/IEC Directives, Part 2.

1 Scope
This International Standard specifies the requirements for metric screw and plain washer assemblies made of
steel with coarse thread M2 to M12 inclusive, flat seating heads, property classes up to and including 10.9 and
washer hardness classes 200 HV or 300 HV.
The plain washers are captive, i.e. prevented from disassembly and free to rotate.
NOTE The manufacturing of screw and washer assemblies takes into consideration material and production
procedure of screw blank and washer as well as the assembly process of components, in order to meet specification
requirements (see Annex A).
