High-strength structural bolting assemblies for preloading - Part 5: Plain washers

This European Standard specifies, together with EN 14399 1 and EN 14399 2, hardened and tempered plain washers intended for bolting assemblies with large series hexagon high-strength structural bolts and nuts with threads from M12 to M36 inclusive. Washers according to this standard can be applied under the nut only.
Washers according to this standard are not intended to be used in direct contact with oversized or slotted holes.
NOTE   Attention is drawn to the importance of ensuring that the washers are correctly used if satisfactory results are to be obtained. For recommendations concerning proper application, reference to EN 1090-2 is made.

Diese Europäische Norm legt, zusammen mit EN 14399-1 und EN 14399-2, Anforderungen für vergütete flache Scheiben, welche für die Ver¬wendung mit hochfesten Sechskantschrauben und  muttern mit großer Schlüsselweite für den Metallbau mit Gewindegrößen von M12 bis M36 vorgesehen sind, fest. Scheiben nach dieser Norm können nur unter der Mutter verwendet werden.
Scheiben nach dieser Norm sind nicht dafür vorgesehen in direktem Kontakt mit übergroßen Löchern oder Langlöchern verwendet zu werden.
ANMERKUNG   Es wird darauf hingewiesen, dass zufriedenstellende Ergebnisse nur dann erzielt werden, wenn sichergestellt ist, dass die Scheiben sachgerecht eingesetzt werden. Für Empfehlungen zur richtigen Anwendung wird auf EN 1090-2 verwiesen.

La présente Norme européenne, avec l’EN 14399-1 et l’EN 14399-2, spécifie les exigences applicables aux rondelles plates trempées et revenues destinées à être assemblées avec des vis et écrous hexagonaux de construction métallique à haute résistance à surplat de série large et de diamètre de filetage de M12 à M36 inclus. Les rondelles conformes à la présente norme peuvent uniquement être utilisées sous l'écrou.
Les rondelles conformes à la présente norme ne sont pas destinées à être utilisées en contact direct avec des trous oblongs ou de grande dimension.
NOTE   Il est important de s’assurer que les rondelles soient utilisées de façon correcte afin d’obtenir un résultat satisfaisant. Pour les recommandations relatives à la bonne utilisation, se référer à l’EN 1090-2.

Ta dokument skupaj s standardom EN 14399-1 določa ojačane in kaljene ploščate podložke, namenjene za zveze z velikimi vrstami visokotrdnostnih strukturnih vijakov s šestrobo glavo in šestrobimi maticami z navoji od M12 do vključno M36. Podložke po tem standardu se lahko uporabljajo samo pod matico.
OPOMBA: Opozoriti je treba na pomembnost zagotavljanja pravilne uporabe podložk za dosego zadovoljivih rezultatov. Za priporočila glede pravilne uporabe je naveden standard EN 1090-2.
