Liquid crystal display devices - Part 10-1: Mechanical test methods

This part of IEC 61747 lists test methods applicable to liquid crystal display devices. It takes into account, wherever possible, the mechanical robustness test methods as outlined in IEC 60068. The object of this standard is to establish uniform preferred test methods with preferred values for stress levels for judging the mechanical properties of liquid crystal display devices. In case of contradiction between this standard and a relevant specification, it is the latter that should govern.

La CEI 61747-10-1:2013 répertorie les méthodes d'essais applicables aux dispositifs d'affichage à cristaux liquides. Elle prend en compte, dans la mesure du possible, les méthodes d'essais de robustesse mécanique telles qu'elles sont indiquées dans la CEI 60068. L'objet de la présente norme est d'établir des méthodes d'essais préférentielles uniformes indiquant des valeurs préférentielles pour les niveaux de contraintes, permettant d'estimer les propriétés mécaniques des dispositifs d'affichage à cristaux liquides. Cette première édition de la CEI 61747-10-1 annule et remplace les Articles 1 et 2 de la première édition de la CEI 61747-5 parue en 1998. Cette édition constitue une révision technique.

Prikazovalniki s tekočimi kristali - 10-1. del: Mehanske preskusne metode

Ta del standarda IEC 61747 določa preskusne metode za prikazovalnike s tekočimi kristali. Kadar je to mogoče, upošteva mehanske metode za preskus robustnosti, kot je navedeno v standardu IEC 60068. Cilj tega standarda je vzpostaviti enotne priporočene preskusne metode s prednostnimi vrednostmi za stopnje odpornosti pri ocenjevanju mehanskih lastnosti prikazovalnikov s tekočimi kristali. V primeru neskladij med tem standardom in ustrezno specifikacijo ima prednost specifikacija.

FOREWORD
1) The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) is a worldwide organization for standardization comprising
all national electrotechnical committees (IEC National Committees). The object of IEC is to promote
international co-operation on all questions concerning standardization in the electrical and electronic fields. To
this end and in addition to other activities, IEC publishes International Standards, Technical Specifications,
Technical Reports, Publicly Available Specifications (PAS) and Guides (hereafter referred to as “IEC
