Timber structures - Structural timber and glued laminated timber - Determination of shear strength and mechanical properties perpendicular to the grain

This standard specifies test methods for determining: a) tensile and compressive  strengths perpendicular to the grain of structural timber and glued laminated  timber and b) tensile and compressive moduli of elasticity perpendicular to the  grain of structural timber and glued laminated timber and c) shear strength parallel to the grain of structural timber and of the laminates used in glued laminated timber.

Holzbauwerke - Bauholz für tragende Zwecke und Brettschichtholz - Bestimmung der Scherfestigkeit und der mechanischen Eigenschaften rechtwinklig zur Faserrichtung

Diese Norm legt Prüfverfahren fest, in denen folgende Eigenschaften bestimmt werden: a) die Zug- und Druckfestigkeit rechtwinklig zur Faserrichtung von Bauholz für tragende Zwecke und von Brettschichtholz; b) die Elastizitätsmoduln bei Zug und Druck rechtwinklig zur Faserrichtung von Bauholz für tragende Zwecke und von Brettschichtholz und c) die Scherfestigkeit in Faserrichtung von Bauholz für tragende Zwecke und von Brettern, die in Brettschichtholz verwendet werden.

La présente norme spécifie les méthodes d'essais permettant de déterminer: a) les résistances a la traction et a la compression perpendiculaire aux fibres du bois de charpente et du bois lamellé-collé, et b) les modules d'élasticité en traction et en compression perpendiculaire aux fibres du bois, de charpente et du bois lamellé-collé, et c) la résistance au cisaillement parallele aux fibres du bois de charpente et des lamelles utilisées dans le bois lamellé-collé.
