This Part 2-33 of EN 50290 gives specific requirements for PE compounds to be used for multi element metallic data cables for indoor application.
It is to be read in conjunction with EN 50290-2-20, the product standard EN 50288 and other applicable product standards.
Using compound and type test data as outlined in this standard, the compound supplier will have sufficient data to demonstrate compliance and warrant that the material is suitable for the specified application.

Dieser Teil 2-33 der EN 50290 legt spezifische Anforderungen für PE-Isoliermischungen für mehradrige metallische Datenkabel zur Anwendung im Innenbereich fest.
Er ist zusammen mit EN 50290 2 20, der Produktnorm EN 50288 sowie mit anderen zutreffenden Produktnormen zu verwenden.
Die Verwendung der Prüfwerte der Rohstoffe und der Daten von Typprüfungen wie in dieser Norm beschrieben, stellt dem Lieferanten der Rohstoffe ausreichende Daten zur Verfügung, um die Nachweise der Übereinstimmung mit den Anforderungen zu erbringen und um zu garantieren, dass das Material für die festgelegte Anwendung geeignet ist.

Ta 2-33. del standarda EN 50290 določa posebne zahteve za polietilenske (PE) zmesi, ki se uporabljajo za večelementne kovinske podatkovne kable za notranjo uporabo.
Standard se uporablja v povezavi s standardom EN 50290-2-20, standardom za izdelke EN 50288 in drugimi veljavnimi standardi za izdelke.

1 Scope
This Part 2-33 of EN 50290 gives specific requirements for Polyethylene (PE) compounds to be used for multi
element metallic data cables for indoor application. The standard includes Low Density (LD), Medium Density
(MD) and High Density (HD) Polyethylene compounds.
It is to be read in conjunction with EN 50290-2-20, the product standard EN 50288 and other applicable product
standards.
Using compound and type test data as outlined in this standard, the compound supplier will have sufficient data
to demonstrate compliance and warrant that the material is suitable for the specified application.
