SCOPE
1.1 This specification covers the general requirements for the Type III Cargo Bed Cover (CBC). The Type III CBC is a removable general purpose rigid wall enclosure that is mounted on any of the following model 2.5 ton cargo trucks (1) the M35A2 Lightweight Medium Tactical Vehicle (LMTV) and (2) the M1078 LMTV. It can also be mounted on the M1082 LMTV Trailer. The CBC provides environmental protection and security for mission equipment and items of general transport.
1.2 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as standard. No other units of measurement are included in this standard.
