Metallic materials - Tube - Ring tensile test (ISO 8496:2013)

ISO 8496:2013 specifies a method for a ring tensile test of tubes to reveal surface and internal defects by subjecting the test piece to strain until fracture occurs. This test may also be used to assess the ductility of tubes.
The ring tensile test is applicable to tubes having an outside diameter exceeding 150 mm and a wall thickness no greater than 40 mm. The inside diameter shall be greater than 100 mm.

Diese Internationale Norm legt ein Verfahren für einen Ringzugversuch für Rohre fest, der der Feststellung von Oberflächen- und Innenfehlern durch Beanspruchung eines Probekörpers bis zum Bruch dient. Diese Prüfung darf auch zur Bewertung der Dehnbarkeit von Rohren angewendet werden.
Der Ringzugversuch gilt für Rohre mit einem Außendurchmesser von mehr als 150 mm und einer Wanddicke von höchstens 40 mm. Der Innendurchmesser muss größer als 100 mm sein.

L'ISO 8496:2013 spécifie une méthode d'essai de traction sur anneaux de tubes, visant à révéler les défauts superficiels et internes, en soumettant l'éprouvette à une déformation jusqu'à rupture. L'essai peut également être utilisé pour évaluer la ductilité des tubes.
L'essai de traction sur anneaux s'applique aux tubes ayant un diamètre extérieur supérieur à 150 mm et une épaisseur de paroi ne dépassant pas 40 mm. Le diamètre intérieur doit être supérieur à 100 mm.

Kovinski materiali - Cev - Natezni preskus obroča (ISO 8496:2013)

Ta mednarodni standard določa metodo za natezni preskus obroča cevi, s čimer se odkrije površinske in notranje hibe tako, da se preskušanca nateza, dokler se ta ne zlomi. Ta preskus se lahko uporabi tudi za ocenjevanje duktilnosti cevi. Natezni preskus obroča cevi se uporablja za cevi z zunanjim premerom, večjim od 150 mm, in debelino stene, manjšo od 40 mm. Notranji premer je nujno večji od 100 mm.

This document (EN ISO 8496:2013) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 164 "Mechanical
testing of metals" in collaboration with Technical Committee ECISS/TC 110 “Steel tubes, and iron and steel
fittings” the secretariat of which is held by UNI.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by May 2014, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the
latest by May 2014.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent
