Tests for mechanical and physical properties of aggregates - Part 3: Determination of loose bulk density and voids

This European Standard specifies the test procedure for the determination of the loose bulk density of dry aggregate and the calculation of the voids.  The test is applicable to natural and artificial aggregates up to a maximum size of 63 mm. A method for the determination of the apparent (bulk) density of filler in kerosene is given in annex A.

Dieser Teil der vorliegenden Europäischen Norm legt ein Prüfverfahren für die Bestimmung der Schüttdichte trockener Gesteinskörnungen und für die Berechnung des Holhraumgehaltes fest. Die Prüfung ist auf natürliche und künstliche Gesteinskörnungen bis zur Korngröße 63 mm anwendbar. Ein Verfahren für die Bestimmung der Schüttdichte von Füller in Kerosin ist in Anhang A enthalten.

La présente partie de la norme européenne spécifie la méthode d'essai permettant la détermination de la masse volumique en vrac et de la porosité intergranulaire.  L'essai est applicable aux granulats naturels et artificiels de dimensions inférieures à 6,3 mm. Une méthode pour la détermination de la masse volumique en vrac du filler dans le kérosène est donnée en annexe A.
