Personal protective equipment - Occupational footwear (ISO 20347:2012)
ISO 20347:2011 specifies basic and additional (optional) requirements for occupational footwear that is not exposed to any mechanical risks (impact or compression).
Special risks are covered by complementary job-related standards (e.g. footwear for firefighters, electrical insulating footwear, protection against chain saw injuries, protection against chemicals and against molten metal splash, protection for motor cycle riders).

Diese Internationale Norm legt Grundanforderungen und (freiwillige) Zusatzanforderungen an Berufsschuhe
fest, für die keine mechanischen Risiken (durch Stoß- oder Druckeinwirkung) bestehen.
Besondere Risiken werden in ergänzenden, auf einzelne Tätigkeiten bezogenen Normen behandelt, (z. B.
Schuhe für die Feuerwehr, elektrisch isolierende Schuhe, Schutzschuhe gegen Verletzungen durch
Kettensägen, Schuhe zum Schutz gegen Chemikalien, Schuhe zum Schutz gegen flüssige Metallspritzer,
Schutzschuhe für Motorradfahrer).
Équipement de protection individuelle - Chaussures de travail (ISO 20347:2012)
L'ISO 20347:2012 spécifie des exigences fondamentales et additionnelles (facultatives) relatives aux chaussures de travail qui n'exigent pas de protection contre les risques mécaniques (choc ou écrasement).
Les risques particuliers sont couverts par des normes complémentaires relatives au travail, par exemple chaussures pour pompiers, chaussures isolantes électriquement, protection contre les coupures de scies à chaîne, protection contre les produits chimiques et contre les projections de métal fondu, protection pour motocyclistes.
Osebna varovalna oprema - Delovna obutev (ISO 20347:2012)
Ta mednarodni standard določa osnovne in dodatne (izbirne) zahteve za delovno obutev, ki ni izpostavljena mehanskim tveganjem (udarcem ali stiskanju). Posebna tveganja so obravnavana v dopolnilnih standardih, povezanih s poklici (npr. obutev za gasilce, elektroizolacijska obutev, zaščita pred poškodbami z verižno žago, zaščita pred kemikalijami in obrizgom s staljeno kovino, zaščita za motoriste).

Foreword
This document (EN ISO 20347:2012) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 161 “Foot and leg
protectors”, the secretariat of which is held by BSI, in collaboration with Technical Committee ISO/TC 94
"Personal safety - Protective clothing and equipment".
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by August 2012, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at
the latest by August 2012.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent
rights. CEN [and/or CENELEC] shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
This document supersedes EN ISO 20347:2004.
This document has been prepared under a mandate given to CEN by the European Commission and the

NACIONALNI UVOD
Standard SIST EN ISO 20347 (sl), Osebna varovalna oprema – Delovna obutev (ISO 20347:2012),
2012, ima status slovenskega standarda in je istoveten evropskemu standardu EN ISO 20347
(en, de, fr), Personal protective equipment – Occupational footwear (ISO 20347:2012), 2012.
Ta standard nadomešča SIST EN ISO 20347:2004.
NACIONALNI PREDGOVOR
Evropski standard EN ISO 20347:2012 je pripravil tehnični odbor Evropskega komiteja za
standardizacijo CEN/TC 161 Zaščita nog in stopal. Slovenski standard SIST EN ISO 20347:2012 je
prevod evropskega standarda EN ISO 20347:2012. V primeru spora glede besedila slovenskega
prevoda v tem standardu je odločilen izvirni evropski standard v enem izmed treh uradnih jezikov CEN.
Slovensko izdajo standarda je pripravil tehnični odbor SIST/TC OVP Osebna varovalna oprema.
Odločitev za izdajo tega standarda je dne 17. maja 2012 sprejel SIST/TC OVP Osebna varovalna oprema.
