Polymeric materials, cellular, flexible - Determination of air flow value at constant pressure-drop (ISO 7231:2023)

This document specifies two methods for determining the air flow value of flexible cellular polymeric materials:
—     method A, for conventional types of flexible cellular polymeric material;
—     method B, for all types of flexible cellular polymeric material, but especially for materials with a low permeability to air.
For method B, two methods are specified in this document:
—     method B1: with manual measurement;
—     method B2: with automatic measurement.
NOTE 1       Air flow values can be used to give an indication of the effects of formulation and production variables on the cellular structure.
NOTE 2       In this document, the expression “conventional type of flexible cellular polymeric material” means types which are unsuitable for sealing purposes.

Weich-elastische Polymerschaumstoffe - Bestimmung der Luftdurchlässigkeit bei konstantem Differenzdruck (ISO 7231:2023)

Dieses Dokument legt zwei Verfahren zur Bestimmung der Luftdurchlässigkeit( swerte) von weich-elastischen Polymerschaumstoffen fest:
   Verfahren A für die herkömmlichen Typen weich-elastischer Polymerschaumstoffe;
   Verfahren B für alle Arten weich-elastischer Polymerschaumstoffe, jedoch insbesondere für Materialien mit geringer Luftdurchlässigkeit.
Für Verfahren B sind in diesem Dokument zwei Verfahren festgelegt:
   Verfahren B1: mit manuellem Messverfahren;
   Verfahren B2: mit automatischem Messverfahren.
ANMERKUNG 1   Luftdurchlässigkeitswerte können als Anhaltspunkt für den Einfluss von Rezeptur und Herstellungsvariablen auf die Zellstruktur verwendet werden.
ANMERKUNG 2   In diesem Dokument steht der Ausdruck „herkömmlicher Typ weich-elastischer Polymerschaumstoffe“ für Typen, die nicht zum Abdichten geeignet sind.

Matériaux polymères alvéolaires souples - Détermination de l'indice d'écoulement d'air à chute de pression constante (ISO 7231:2023)

Le présent document spécifie deux méthodes de détermination de l’indice d’écoulement d’air des matériaux polymères alvéolaires souples:
—     méthode A, pour les matériaux polymères alvéolaires souples classiques;
—     méthode B, pour tous types de matériaux polymères alvéolaires souples, mais essentiellement pour les matériaux ayant une faible perméabilité à l’air.
Pour la méthode B, deux méthodes sont spécifiées dans le présent document:
—     méthode B1: avec mesurage manuel;
—     méthode B2: avec mesurage automatique.
NOTE 1       Les indices d’écoulement d’air peuvent être utilisés pour donner une indication des effets de la variation des paramètres de formulation et de fabrication sur la structure cellulaire.
NOTE 2       Dans le présent document, le terme «matériaux polymères alvéolaires souples classiques» désigne les types qui ne conviennent pas pour l’étanchéité.

Ta dokument določa dve metodi za določanje vrednosti zračnega pretoka pri mehkih penjenih polimernih materialih:
– metoda A za konvencionalne vrste mehkih penjenih polimernih materialov;
– metoda B za vse vrste mehkih penjenih polimernih materialov, a še posebej za materiale z nizko prepustnostjo zraka.
Za metodo B sta v tem dokumentu določeni dve metodi:
– metoda B1: z ročnim merjenjem;
– metoda B2: s samodejnim merjenjem.
OPOMBA 1: Vrednosti zračnega pretoka se lahko uporabijo za navedbo učinkov spremenljivk formulacije in proizvodnje na penjeno strukturo.
OPOMBA 2: V tem dokumentu izraz »konvencionalna vrsta mehkega penjenega polimernega materiala« pomeni vrste, ki niso primerne za namene tesnjenja.
