Small craft - Permanently installed petrol and diesel fuel tanks (ISO 21487:2012, including Amd 1:2014 and Amd 2:2015)

ISO 21487:2012 establishes requirements for design and test of petrol and diesel fuel tanks for internal combustion engines that are intended to be permanently installed in small craft of up to 24 m length of hull.
For installation requirements, ISO 10088 applies.

Kleine Wasserfahrzeuge — Fest eingebaute Ottokraftstoff- und Dieselkraftstofftanks (ISO 21487:2012)

Diese Internationale Norm legt Anforderungen an die Konstruktion und die Prüfung von fest eingebauten Ottokraftstoff- und Dieselkraftstofftanks für Verbrennungsmotoren auf kleinen Wasserfahrzeugen mit einer Rumpflänge bis 24 m fest.
Für Anforderungen an die Installation ist ISO 10088 anzuwenden.

L'ISO 21487:2012 établit des exigences sur la conception et les essais des réservoirs à carburant essence et diesel pour les moteurs à combustion interne et destinés à être installés à demeure sur des bateaux d'une longueur de coque inférieure ou égale à 24 m.
L'ISO 10088 s'applique pour ce qui concerne les exigences d'installation.

Mednarodni standard določa zahteve za načrtovanje in preskušanje rezervoarjev za bencinsko in dizelsko gorivo za motorje z notranjim zgorevanjem, ki so namenjeni trajni vgradnji v mala plovila z dolžino trupa do 24 m. Zahteve glede namestitve so določene v standardu ISO 10088.

The text of ISO 21487:2012, including Amd 1:2014 and Amd 2:2015 has been prepared by Technical
Committee ISO/TC 188 “Small craft” of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and has
been taken over as EN ISO 21487:2018.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by April 2019, and conflicting national standards shall be
withdrawn at the latest by April 2019.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
patent rights. CEN shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
This document supersedes EN ISO 21487:2012.
This document has been prepared under a mandate given to CEN by the European Commission and the
European Free Trade Association, and supports essential requirements of EU Directive 2013/53/EU.
