Plastics piping systems - Glass-reinforced thermosetting plastics (GRP) pipes - Determination of the apparent initial circumferential tensile strength

This standard specifies six test methods for the determination of the apparent initial tensile strength in the circumferential direction per unit length of glass-reinforced thermosetting plastics (GRP) pipes. The burst test (method A) is suitable for all types and sizes of pipes. It is the preferred method for pipes up to and including DN 600.

Diese Norm legt sechs Prüfverfahren zur Bestimmung der scheinbaren Anfangs- Zugfestigkeit je Längeneinheit in Umfangsrichtung von Rohren aus glasfaserverstärkten duroplastischen Kunststoffen (GFK) fest. Die Berstdruck- Prüfung (Verfahren A) ist geeignet für alle Arten und Größen von Rohren. Sie ist das bevorzugte Verfahren für Rohre bis DN 600.

La présente norme spécifie six méthodes d'essai pour la détermination de la résistance initiale apparente en traction par unité de longueur dans le sens de la circonférence de tubes en plastiques thermodurcissables renforcés de verre (PRV). L'essai d'éclatement (méthode A) est valable pour tous les types et toutes les dimensions de tubes. C'est la méthode préférentielle pour les tubes jusqu'à et y compris DN 600.
