Eurocode 8: Design of structures for earthquake resistance - Part 1: General rules, seismic actions and rules for buildings

Complementary to Eurocodes 1 to 7 and 9. Additional provisions for the structural design of buildings and civil engineering works to be constructed in seismic regions where risk to life and/or risk of structural damage are required to be reduced. General requirements and rules for assessment of seismic actions and combinations with other actions. General rules for earthquake resistant design of buildings and specific rules for buildings and elements constructed with each of the various structural materials.

1.1.2  Obseg EN 1998-1
(1)EN 1998-1 se uporablja za projektiranje stavb in inženirskih objektov na potresnih območjih. Razdeljen je na 10 poglavij, od katerih so nekatera posebej namenjena projektiranju stavb.
(2)Poglavje 2 EN 1998-1 obsega osnovne zahteve in merila, ki se uporabljajo za stavbe in inženirske objekte v potresnih območjih.
(3)Poglavje 3 EN 1998-1 vsebuje pravila za predstavitev potresnih vplivov in za njihovo kombinacijo z drugimi vplivi. Določene vrste konstrukcij, obravnavane v EN 1998-2 do EN 1998-6, potrebujejo dodatna pravila, ki so navedena v teh delih.
(4)Poglavje 4 EN 1998-1 vsebuje splošna pravila za stavbe.
(5)Poglavja 5 do 9 EN 1998-1 vsebujejo posebna pravila za različne konstrukcijske materiale in elemente, ustrezne za stavbe, kot sledi:
poglavje 5: posebna pravila za betonske stavbe,
poglavje 6: posebna pravila za jeklene stavbe,
poglavje 7: posebna pravila za sovprežne stavbe,
poglavje 8: posebna pravila za lesene stavbe,
poglavje 9: posebna pravila za zidane stavbe.
(6)Poglavje 10 vsebuje osnovne zahteve in druge ustrezne vidike pri projektiranju in zagotavljanju varnosti potresne izolacije, posebej potresne izolacije stavb.
OPOMBA:Posebna pravila za izolacijo mostov so navedena v EN 1998-2.
(7)Dodatek C vsebuje dodatne elemente, povezane s projektiranjem armature v betonskih ploščah sovprežnih nosilcev pomičnih okvirov v območju vozlišč nosilec-steber.
OPOMBA:   Dodatka A in B vsebujeta dodatne elemente, povezane z elastičnim spektrom pomika in ciljnim pomikom za nelinearno statično (“pushover”) analizo.

NACIONALNI UVOD
Standard SIST EN 1998-1 (sl), Evrokod 8: Projektiranje potresnoodpornih konstrukcij – 1. del: Splošna
pravila, potresni vplivi in pravila za stavbe, 2005, ima status slovenskega standarda in je istoveten
evropskemu standardu EN 1998-1 (en), Eurocode 8: Design of structures for earthquake resistance –
Part 1: General rules, seismic actions and rules for buildings, 2004.
NACIONALNI PREDGOVOR
Evropski standard EN 1998-1:2004 je pripravil tehnični odbor Evropskega komiteja za standardizacijo
CEN/TC 250 Konstrukcijski evrokodi, katerega tajništvo je v pristojnosti BSI
Slovenski standard SIST EN 1998-1:2005 je prevod evropskega standarda EN 1998-1:2004. V
primeru spora glede besedila slovenskega prevoda v tem standardu je odločilen izvirni evropski
standard v angleškem jeziku. Slovensko izdajo standarda je pripravil tehnični odbor SIST/TC KON
Konstrukcije.
ZVEZA Z NACIONALNIMI STANDARDI
V standardu SIST EN 1998-1:2005 pomeni sklicevanje na evropske in mednarodne standarde, ki je
vključeno v ta evropski standard, sklicevanje na enakovredne slovenske standarde, npr.:
EN 1990 pomeni SIST EN 1990.
NACIONALNI DODATEK
V skladu s standardom EN 1998-1:2004 bo pripravljen nacionalni dodatek k standardu SIST EN 1998-
1:2005. Nacionalni dodatek vsebuje alternativne postopke, vrednosti in priporočila za razrede z
opombami, ki kažejo, kje se lahko uveljavi nacionalna izbira. Zato bo nacionalni dodatek SIST EN 1998-
1:2005/A101 vseboval nacionalno določene parametre, ki jih je treba uporabiti pri projektiranju stavb in
gradbenih inženirskih objektov, ki bodo zgrajeni v Republiki Sloveniji.
Nacionalna izbira je v EN 1998-1:2004 dovoljena v:
