This European Standard defines the requirements for the ordering, manufacture, testing, inspection and
delivery of aluminium and aluminium alloy plate, clad or unclad, supplied in the as-rolled or machined
condition. It shall be applied when referred to and in conjunction with the EN material standard unless
otherwise specified on the drawing, order or inspection schedule.

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Anforderungen für die Bestellung, Herstellung, Prüfung, Inspektion und Lieferung von plattierten und von unplattierten Platten aus Aluminium und Aluminiumlegierungen fest, die im Walzzustand oder in spanend bearbeiteter Form bereitgestellt werden. Sie ist anzuwenden, sofern auf sie verwiesen wird, sowie in Verbindung mit der EN-Werkstoffnorm, sofern in der Zeichnung, Bestellung oder Prüfanweisung nicht anders festgelegt.
