EN 14154-4:2014

Water meters - Part 4: Additional functionalities

This European Standard specifies definitions, requirements and testing of additional functionalities for water meters, without metrological impact, in combination with Additional Functionality Devices (AFD) and in response to EU/EFTA Mandate M/441 EN. These AFDs are to be considered as “ancillary devices" as defined in EN 14154-1.
This European Standard does not cover the changing of metrological software within the meter or the upload/download of metrological software.
NOTE    A manufacturer can claim compliance only for additional functionalities described in this standard. It is not mandatory that an AFD complies with all additional functionalities described herein.

Wasserzähler - Teil 4: Zusätzliche Funktionalitäten

Diese Europäische Norm legt Begriffe, Anforderungen und Prüfverfahren für zusätzliche Funktionalitäten für Wasserzähler ohne metrologische Auswirkungen in Kombination mit Zusatzfunktionsgeräten (ZFG) entsprechend EU/EFTA-Mandat M/441 EN fest. Diese ZFG gelten als „Zusatzgeräte“ gemäß der Definition in EN ISO 4064-1 und EN ISO 4064-4.
Diese Europäische Norm behandelt nicht die Änderung metrologischer Software innerhalb des Zählers oder deren Hoch-/Herunterladen.
ANMERKUNG   Ein Hersteller kann nur für in dieser Europäischen Norm beschriebene Zusatzfunktionen Konformität beanspruchen. Ein Zusatzfunktionsgerät (ZFG) muss nicht notwendigerweise alle in dieser Europäischen Norm definierten Funktionen beinhalten.

Compteurs d'eau - Partie 4: Fonctionnalités additionnelles

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les définitions, exigences et essais des fonctionnalités additionnelles des compteurs d'eau, sans impact métrologique, en combinaison avec les dispositifs à fonctionnalités additionnelles (AFD) et en réponse au mandat UE/EFTA M/441 EN. Ces AFD doivent être considérés comme des « dispositifs auxiliaires » conformément à la définition de l’EN ISO 4064-1 et de l’EN ISO 4064-4.
La présente Norme européenne ne traite pas de la modification du logiciel à caractère métrologique dans le compteur ou du téléchargement d'un logiciel à caractère métrologique.
NOTE   Un fabricant peut déclarer la conformité uniquement pour les fonctionnalités additionnelles décrites dans la présente Norme européenne. Il n’est pas obligatoire qu’un AFD soit conforme à toutes les fonctionnalités additionnelles décrites dans la présente norme.

Vodomeri - 4. del: Dodatne funkcije

Ta evropski standard določa definicije, zahteve in preskušanje dodatnih funkcij za vodomere, brez meroslovnega vpliva, v kombinaciji z napravami z dodatnimi funkcijami (AFD) in kot odziv na mandat EU/EFTA M/441 EN. Te naprave z dodatnimi funkcijami se upoštevajo kot »pomožne naprave«, kot je definirano v standardih EN ISO 4064-1 in EN ISO 4064-4.
Ta evropski standard ne zajema sprememb meroslovne programske opreme merilnika ali
prenosa/nalaganja meroslovne programske opreme.
