EN 15009:2020 - Aerosol containers: Compartmented aerosol dispensers is a CEN standard that defines the required relationship between the nominal product volume and the maximum brimful capacity of the outer container for compartmented aerosol dispensers. It applies to dispensers with an outer metal, glass or plastic container propelled by compressed or liquefied gases and where product delivery is via a piston or inner flexible bag/inner bag expansion. The standard aims to prevent hazardous over‑filling, deceptive under‑filling and to ensure a clear, unambiguous declaration of nominal quantity.
