Ceramic tiles - Part 18: Determination of Light Reflectance Value (LRV) (ISO 10545-18:2022)

The objective of this document is to define a test method to determine the light reflectance value (LRV) of ceramic tiles, including mosaic tiles.
It is applicable to solid-coloured, multicoloured and non-uniform shade tile surfaces including tile with flame effects, speckled or textured with different types of finishing.

Die Zielsetzung dieses Dokuments ist die Festlegung eines Prüfverfahrens zur Bestimmung des Licht-reflexionswertes (LRW) von keramischen Fliesen und Platten, einschließlich Mosaikfliesen.
Es gilt für einfarbige, mehrfarbige und ungleichmäßig schattierte Oberflächen von Fliesen und Platten, ein¬schließlich Fliesen und Platten mit Flammeneffekt, gesprenkelter oder strukturierter Fliesen und Platten und solcher mit unterschiedlichen Oberflächenausführungen.

L'objectif du prèsent document est de définir une méthode d'essai permettant de déterminer la valeur de réflectance lumineuse (LRV) des carreaux céramiques, y compris celle des carreaux de mosaïque.
Cette méthode s'applique aux carreaux de couleur unie ou aux surfaces multicolores, avec des effets de flammes, mouchetés ou texturés, avec différents types de finition.

Cilj tega dokumenta je opredeliti preskusno metodo za določitev vrednosti odbojnosti svetlobe (LRV) keramičnih ploščic in tudi mozaičnih ploščic.
Uporablja se za enobarvne, večbarvne in neenakomerne površine ploščic, vključno s ploščicami z učinkom plamena, pikaste ali teksturirane z različnimi vrstami zaključne obdelave.

This document (EN ISO 10545-18:2022) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 189
"Ceramic tile" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 67 “Ceramic tiles” the secretariat of
which is held by UNI.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by October 2022, and conflicting national standards shall
be withdrawn at the latest by October 2022.
