EN ISO 5350-1:2006

Pulps - Estimation of dirt and shives - Part 1: Inspection of laboratory sheets by transmitted light (ISO 5350-1:2006)

ISO 5350-1:2006 specifies a method for the estimation by transmitted light of the visible dirt and shives in laboratory sheets prepared from pulp. It is, in principle, applicable to all kinds of pulp, although it is mainly intended for pulp that is not manufactured in sheet form.
ISO 5350-1:2006 can also be applied to mill sheeted pulp, if the sheets have high grammage or are very opaque for other reasons, in which case ISO 5350-2:2006 is not applicable.
ISO 5350-1:2006 is not intended for recycled pulp.

Faserstoff - Bewertung von Schmutz und Splittern - Teil 1: Prüfung von Laborblättern mit dem Durchlicht-Verfahren (ISO 5350-1:2006)

Dieser Teil der ISO 5350 legt die Vorgehensweise für das Durchlicht-Verfahren fest, das zur Bewertung von sichtbarem Schmutz und Splittern in Laborblättern dient, welche aus Faserstoffen hergestellt wurden. Diese Internationale Norm ist grundsätzlich auf alle Sorten von Faserstoff anwendbar, obwohl sie hauptsächlich für Faserstoffe vorgesehen ist, die nicht in Bogenform hergestellt sind.
Dieser Teil der ISO 5350 kann auch für Zellstoff angewendet werden, wenn die Probebogen aufgrund ihrer hohen flächenbezogenen Masse oder aus anderen Gründen eine hohe Opazität aufweisen. Diese Faserstoffe können nicht mit den Prüfverfahren nach ISO 5350-2 bestimmt werden.
Dieser Teil der ISO 5350 ist nicht für Altpapierstoffe bestimmt.
ANMERKUNG   Die Bestimmung von Splittern in Holzstoffen erfolgt üblicherweise durch mechanische Trennelemente oder optische Untersuchungsverfahren. Verschiedene Holzstoffarten können Probleme bei der Herstellung von Laborblättern oder bei der Prüfung selbst verursachen. In solchen Fällen ist dieser Teil der ISO 5350 nicht anwendbar.

Pâtes - Estimation des impuretés et bûchettes - Partie 1: Examen des feuilles de laboratoire par lumière transmise (ISO 5350-1:2006)

L'ISO 5350-1:2006 spécifie une méthode pour l'estimation par lumière transmise des impuretés et bûchettes visibles dans des feuilles de laboratoire préparées à partir de pâtes. En principe, elle est applicable à tous les types de pâte bien qu'elle soit principalement destinée aux pâtes qui ne sont pas fabriquées en feuilles.
L'ISO 5350-1:2006 est également applicable aux pâtes fabriquées en feuilles si les feuilles ont un grammage élevé ou sont très opaques pour d'autres raisons, auquel cas l'ISO 5350-2 ne s'applique pas.
L'ISO 5350-1:2006 n'est pas destinée aux pâtes recyclées.

This document (EN ISO 5350-1:2006) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 6
"Paper, board and pulps" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 172 "Pulp, paper
and board", the secretariat of which is held by DIN.

This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of
an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by February 2007, and conflicting national
standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by February 2007.

This document supersedes EN ISO 5350-1:1998.

According to the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations, the national standards organizations of
the following countries are bound to implement this European Standard: Austria, Belgium,
